Hotel Prakash is located at the heart of Shillong city at Laitumkhrah with all amenities as travel assistance for site seeing, well maintained old fashioned rooms and restaurant with food services in room too. The owner of the property Mr. Dinesh Saigal is very prompt and soft spoken with keen interest in customer service.

Location is good, food is great I recommend this hotel for budget trips and solo travelers, they don't have personal lockers

While my stay in prakash hotel it was a dormitory so no problem with that, but the toilet was dirty and also underneath the mattress there were things left behind by other like small soap and tobacco packet. Pillow was too small.

Washroom was not clean, no electricity back, no bed cover

Hotel is good but washroom is not so good no drainage system all waters are lying on the ground of washroom no drainage like flood

Hotel is not very good, flooring was of carpet which was very bad , there was a smell in blanket

The hotel is really very well managed and the water is always available.. but I would suggest they check on the dirt lying on the beds. Secondly, there's too much noise from the outside door even at midnight, so it becomes quite disturbing during the night to sleep.

The dorms are quite good and affordable for backpackers but the condition of the bathroom is very bad.

The rooms and location are good but the food is not good to the desired extent, room service is excellent over all view is good.

The dorm was way to smelly. It smelled like it was never cleaned ever. Mattress was eww. Felt like puking. I can still smell that bad odour from my clothes. Just one charging point for 10 beds.
