Review Of Namrata Palace

The hotel did not have a proper board, thus it was a hassle even finding it. There is no reception desk or anyone to attend to... with no mobile network in Matheran, we had to spend an hour to catch hold of the property manager as he was busy trying to lure new customers in railway station instead of attending to booked customers. There were no toiletries or towels provided. The rooms are dingy and poorly maintained. The bed is filled with dust. The sheets are smelly. We found 2 cockroaches on the bed and spend the night sitting on a chair rather than sleeping on the bed.

The hygiene of the room was bad. Please don't book a room. Green fungus was around everywhere. The cupboard was filled with this which had fungus. The bathroom was also not cleaned

The property is situated nearby the railway station, however it was mediocre and not on par with the charged tariff.

The location of the hotel is very good as it is only less than 5 minutes walk from Matheran station. Restaurant and market is also close from the hotel. Cleanliness of rooms are excellent with a lot of space and facilities like geyser, wifi, smart tv... Also the owner is kind, he let us early check in as we were in a group of 6.

had a wonderful stay at Namrata palace Hotel in Matheran! The owner was incredibly nice and ensured an easy check-in process. The location is excellent, being very close to the Matheran railway station and the main market, making it very easy to reach. The room was neat and clean, and hot water was available . I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay in Matheran.

Leakage on the wall, decent food, quite close to the market, quite over priced a place like that.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a fantastic home stay in matheran that provided an amazing home stay experience the room was clean thank you kondiba

Was very dirty, the sheets were not changed, no toiletries were provided, the bed was stinking and was damp, this might be due to bad weather but it was not comfortable, the neighbours were localities and were very noisy, also they are not animal friendly as they hurt puppies by hitting and throwing them out in the rain

Namrata palace in matheran is good for couples. Although meals are not included, the overall experience was pleasant. The view from there is also very nice.
