Review Of Mudhouse Experiential Hostels

Mudhouse is at a very convenient location. All view points are nearby and a stream flows just behind the property. The food was good. The staff is friendly. Varsha is an amazing host, very helping and cheerful person.

Worst place to book if you want a peaceful stay. As the route was very bad, we expected to eat good food and have some rest on the day we arrived, but the chicken was half cooked and the bone had blood, they gave meda roti without notifying us. In the night, the next room had a group of drunken guys who were playing loud music till 1 am and talking rubbish and bad words. I tried to call host but she did not pick up, I sent her recordings also. In the morning she pretended like she never got our calls and messages. In property rules it's clearly mentioned that no alcohol is allowed, 10 pm to 6 am is quiet time, they even mentioned they prefer creative and peace-loving solo type guests but all we got is loud music, drunken stags, worst food, and yes broken geyser, and we had to change our room. In case the host denies any of this, I would be happy to upload all pics of food, and alcohol bottles in the next room balcony, and even recordings if possible. AGAIN A BIG NO IF YOU WANT PEACE OR WANT TO FEEL SAFE WITH YOU PARTNER AND FAMILY. In case anything happens the host will never pick your call, they are highly inefficient in managing the property or guests and don't honor their own rules.

The hosts were very courteous and engaged a lot especially the property manager, they even organised a cricket match screening and that was a really great experience. Cleanliness is a big issue at the property as everything is coated in dust at all times. The bathrooms were unkempt and not maintained as there were constant leakages keeping the bathroom floor wet at all times. The bunk beds were comfortable. The working staff was very sluggish and would sleep late and hence basic services like hot water or tea wasn't available till 9 in the morning and even after placing an order the tea or a simple glass of hot water would take at least half an hour to arrive. Overall i would rate the stay 5/10

Hostel stay was okay, they can do better with cleaning in the rooms. Although the river view is very good. But less food options for foodie people. Good calm place overall.

Property is great but vibe is totally off. Not worth the price at all. No fun. Very very quiet and boring

Right next to the Pushpabhadra river, a serene environment with the sound of gushing water, surrounded by deodhar trees and friendly staff. Enjoyed staying in one of the dorms with clean bedding and nice toilet. Quiet and peaceful. Food was very tasty too. Stayed for 5 nights and did a lot of uphill walking on tracks around Jibhi . Jibhi has many delightful cafes as well.

Food was good, stay was also good, internet connectivity is an issue other than that everything is good

The stay was amazing and the manager and staff were very cordial and welcoming. Good food and very cooperative.

The overall ambiance of the place is really great. Felt warm and cozy. People were very sweet and friendly. Best place for solo travelers to meet like minded people.

I booked a bed in the dorm for 2 days and I ended up staying for the whole week. The hospitality and warmth of this place is such. No words can describe you will have to experience the living in Mudhouse.

Good for a stay when traveling on a tight budget.

I had the best time of my life. Mudhouse exactly fulfills it's thought process and now I am convinced why it is that famous. The vibes, you cannot get anywhere else. It's so subtle yet full of heartful souls. Best experience ever.

Location of the property was nice. There is a stream flowing behind the property. Caretaker of the property was helpful, services are good, they guided us for everything. Food was nice, a recommendable place for Solo travelers and group of friends. Enjoyed the stay.
