Fantastic stay

A very very nice place to stay! It's a new hostel, everything is clean and wonderful! Super comfy! Lady at reception was very friendly and helpful. Great location! It's conveniently located on the main road (but no noise at all). Beautiful mountain view from the terrace. I didn't try the food (the menu was quite pricy, but that's in all hostels, because they make more money from food than from stays usually). I HIGHLY recommend this hostel to all travellers! Thank you so much.

Foul smelling experience

I booked a private room in the hostel. All the private rooms had a balcony but the trees were blocking the view of the valley. The toilet and bathroom smelled so bad that the entire room was filled with foul odor and made it difficult to survive two days. The lock of the room was not working. We asked the host at reception about these issues and were told "all the rooms are like this only". Very poor experience for such a high price, skip this one.

The Rustic Jibhi - Backpackers Hostel is a Himalayan gem. The food—think pink sauce pasta and wood-fired pizzas—was delicious, though desserts were hit-or-miss. Clean dorms, comfy beds, free WiFi, and mountain views nailed the amenities. The staff’s warmth and the cozy lounge added heart. Tucked near Jibhi market, it’s serene yet accessible. A 9/10 for a soulful retreat.

It was my first solo trip, and this hostel exceeded my expectations. The staff gave me a warm welcome, the food was delicious, and the balcony offered stunning views. Overall, it was an amazing experience!

It was an amazing experience staying at The Rustic. The food, rooms, ambiance everything is great. The owner/Host is very helpful and friendly. He can get a lot of things including logistics, travel, etc. sorted until your stay here. Do try Pan cakes, sizzlers here, they are extremely good.
