Review Of Mountain Mist- 4BHK Luxurious Villa with Pvt Pool

We stayed at this villa last weekend, and while the property had potential, the overall experience was quite disappointing. The villa is old and poorly maintained — the walls were dirty, and some rooms had non-functioning air conditioners and fan regulators, making the stay uncomfortable. On arrival, all bathrooms had a strong unpleasant smell, which was only cleaned after we pointed it out to the staff. This should have been addressed well before guest check-in. To add to the inconvenience, the location shared on MakeMyTrip was incorrect, and we had to travel an extra half hour to finally reach the villa. There was also a complete lack of coordination between the management and the caretaker regarding food arrangements. We were told to confirm our meal order on arrival, but ingredients had already been purchased beforehand. Moreover, there was unnecessary insistence on paying for the food before it was prepared — seemingly from the management’s end rather than the caretaker’s. The food, once prepared, was tasty but far too spicy; most of us couldn’t eat much of the veg biryani. Overall, the stay could have been far better with proper maintenance, accurate location details, clearer communication, and better coordination between the staff and management.
