Review Of Mountain Club Resort

The approach road to the resort measuring approx 3 kms from the main road is in a pathetic condition. In fact, it's a kachha (mud) road. One of the front tyres of my car got completely damaged during my stay as this is the only route you can take if you want to go anywhere in that area. The hotel did not provide me with a Microwave-oven as promised earlier to be a part of the mini kitchenette facility. Upon check-in, they said they don't have a Microwave-oven and all that they can give me is a normal electric oven. The power supply to the hotel is a bit erratic (understandable it being a forest resort). However, the power back-up system is also not great. On my first night of stay (4-June), there was no power for about 2 hours - 3:00 am to 5:00 am. Coupled with a thunderstorm, it was a horrifying experience. Hotel staff was quite friendly except the Manager named Rishi. He was sounding rude and did not seem to be welcoming me as a guest.

The resort is nice but the way to reach is little awkward. Need to improve. Rest all OK

Better place to stay and relax as it is outside to Nainital and much pleasure place. Also the staff was more helpful and they will provide you all type of service and also the rooms are more clean and having proper space to stay and that is why we recommend this place.

Hotel is excellent, with high quality service, friendly staff, excellent food, value for money. Only issue is accessibility which is deep is hills with no pakka road, has to travel 2. 5 km on very risky kaccha road. Very difficult to reach to the hotel for an outsider specially in night. Once you are inn you are locked. Hotel should look in to this & make it easy for people to reach to their hotel.

The place is great if you are looking for tranquility in the lap of nature. Its quite a distance from the Bhimtal lake. The rooms are cozy and clean. Food is good too. Service is excellent. The pool, swing, treehouse, badminton, table tennis are good recreation options

I had to write about extra tax deducted by the hotel (when we have already paid it to because it ruined our otherwise splendid stay at the hotel. ( We did not even got the invoice for the same The ambience is too good and the staff is ever friendly and keen to assist. I've read a lot of review on approach road but I think that's the USP of the resort, You can easily found well connected hotels in city, but the resort is all about nature and that's how it is.

You know that mountain club resort has charged extra INR 928 from me and he did not provide me any bill for this he just mentioned GST on food bill. When my bill has settled by you than why he charged this amount. When I asked for the same then Mr. David who was sitting on the reception said this is against GST but I already paid taxes to you in your bill. I am not happy with this trip..

Location is extremely poor as it is 2km above Bhimtal lake. And the connectivity road towards hotel is full of rocks and bumpy ride .. The behavior of the reception staff is also bad .. Food is expensive also

Had a pleasant stay. Service was good enough but the approach to Hotel was not comfortable a 2 km of terrain was more than adventurous. Rooms were cozy with a nice balcony view. A candle light dinner was most romantic in jungle.

It is quiet a good experience. Staff is very hostile and cooperative. The only thing is its location which is very challenging. Food quality can be improved. It is more enjoyable if you come with a group.

Unsatisfied angry feel like betrayed The location was inaccessible and not secure. Please do not list hotels like this on your MMT assured and moreover we had to booked another hotel for stay at that night due to security reasons and we loose our money on that booking.

Its location is too much on heoght from road. You will definitely find it problematic. But hotel rooms will give you a Nice feeling and they were quite clean and with Nice aura. Service is little bit of late. Availability of things you want is below average. And if hotel arranges something for you, its going to be really very costly. But overall stay was good. And had peace. Really peaceful place it is.
