Terrible. Total lack of professionalism. Peak winter in amritsar & room lacked heating. When asked, owners said its charged extra. I agreed, yet bringing in heater/blower took hours. Had asked for extra bed while booking. So owners dismantled sofa & turned it into makeshift bed without proper blanket/quilt. End result? first my wife, then my kids fell sick. The first 4 days of dubai trip were spent hunkered in our hotel room. Never staying in homestay's again

It could be unprofessional for you, because till date we always tried to go beyond professionalism.
You booked a small size room, but considering you on family, we upgraded you to the largest room without any charges as our unprofessional approach.
Yes, we can understand that it is your very first homestay, otherwise you would have definitely known that homestay do not have centralised heating plant.
The budgeted tariff that guest opt in comparison to high Tariff Hotels, do very well know that they book for basic and whatever extra they will pay as per usage. And this goes well for economic travellers.
We have Room Heaters In-House ready to facilitate for all our rooms and hold spare inventory, You requested for a heater and left the room stepping out with your family.
By the time you came back we facilitated the unit within 15 minutes. And it's between almighty and you if you paid a single penny for Room Heater. Again on unprofessional side we personally met you and added then & there in advance, that we will extend it as our lovely gesture and would not charge anything.
It is very difficult and surprising for us to consider that you are not familiar with Sofa cum Bed concept, as it's name itself explain that guest can choose the usage as per choice, whenever needed it can be converted to Sofa OR bed.
If you could remember, your extra bed was well made with proper cover bed sheet, pillow along with warm blanket, before arrival, So that you can easily use for relaxing and sleeping as per your choice. We did that so that once you hold your room, you should not wait for 15 minutes to get the bedding ready.
Your room was already placed with a warm Blanket and quilt both in advance itself, you asked for one more, although it was not needed, still we provided then & there, for satisfaction that if it is asked it is delivered. We keep all our laundry well processed, so smell is out of question, otherwise it would have reported at the time of receiving only, and not in a review later.
