Review Of Mikarai Desert Safari Camp

Food was good but rooms were dirty with bare minimum facilities and not worth the amount charged by MakeMyTrip. Dinning hall was poorly lit and dirty. Mattress and blanket quality was very poor. Not recommended for stay unless improved. Would expect MMT to refund entire amount.

It's a basic but very decent hotel, with the right focus on service and hygiene. Clean bed and clean toilets. Good for an overnight stay. Close to airport (20 minutes drive). Location of the hotel is good as it is very near the Domestic and International airports. Clean room. Restaurant " Solitaire " serves delicious food, both veg and non-veg, with two artist playing Indian music instrument "Tabla and Sitar" added calmness to the ambience.

Location is very nice, they don't have much to offer in food and food quality is also average. But when it comes to service, I have never seen such a friendly staff at any place. Special thanks to manager who took us in his jeep for night desert safari. Bon fire with food in desert with my wife and that shining stars, cold sand desert dunes, will never ever forget this trip and all is because of Mr. Thank you so much for everything.

I alongwith my enjoyed a lot. Room decorations, cleanliness, arrangements of bed everything was fine. Room service was beyond expectations, specially service of Hanif is unbelievable. Night cultural programme was really enjoyable. Complementary camel saffary was superb

The desert camp is very good. It the only camp having greenery. They managed to have some trees in there camp, which is very good in the desert. They extended us the traditional welcome. We opted for the tent, instead of cottage. Tent was good, had requisite facilities. The manager was very helpful and attended to our minute requirements. The highlight of the stay was the evening program of songs, shayari and dance. Food served was also very good. We enjoyed the camel Safari.

Excellent care by the camp guys. Faisal Khan and his team took personal care from right from Check-in till check-out. Food served was also up to the mark. Our family really enjoyed the Camel ride to the Sunrise point. However tents need to be cleaned and they are in need of maintenance.

Very poor service and there tent and cottages are very poor like a security cabin. And cultural programme is only organised drinking people. All people drink alcohol and dance in cultural programme. And one of the very bad thing was no clear water available. In the utility water was come with sand. We can not Bath on next day because full water come with sand. Here I am upload some pics of there cottage. There is only one fan in the cottage and it can not movable. And lots of mosquitoes in tent.

As we had a booking for 2 room But in both room there was not a si gle facilities like tv AC and even there was not water in flash. Not worth to go ... Crowd also bad and food too bad for family or group

It's Average, location is very good, camp fire is not value for money, food is Bellow Average camel Safari is OK, there is electric cut off problems, hot water for Bath is not on time and sufficient time.

First of all my warm regards and thanks to the owner who called me many times before check in into the hotel. Due to his personal work he came to Jaisalmer and picked us from there. The service, the team, the ambience etc was up to the mark. Hotel staff is also excellent, food was also good. They are very caring type of people. We had very good quality time there.

This property is MMT approved but Rooms are having improper / bad / unmaintained basic facilities like toilet, door inside closure, wash basin etc. Property location is changed since 6 months as per information but not updated on map of MMT

Overcharged by MMT for this resort. MMT is charging 100% higher than what the hotel is selling locally. Expectation at the price paid was far higher than what was offered as part of the package. MMT Assured program is completely fake. While we raised the issue with MMT team, they are force closing the issue. This is just not acceptable on part. Smelly deb, torn tents, no way you can zip or tie knots to close the tent as everything is torn, food is poor, dirty basin water & the evening program was under rated. Dogs entering the tents at night. While all these I could have accepted if I had paid 100% lower than what we paid. MMT guys - wake up and do justice to your MMT Assured Program. So many poor reviews of MMT over charging.

After reaching at hotel come to know from other travellers that the rates charged by MMT are approx 40% higher wrt other local tour operators. Also jeep safari was not part of our packages. Food quality was average. As MMT has assured liwest price, may I request MMT to return my extra charged money.

Lack in facilities. Water full of sand. Tents dilated. Mosquito infested. Just a soap in smelly toilet. Dogs roaming and entering tent. Tents decapitated and torn here and there. Unable to close flaps. Feeling cheated when other people paying much less than that we paid.

Very poorly managed hotel, poor filthy rooms, mosquitoes and fly in room, No intercom in hotel, no ceiling fan in room, you have to rely on wall mounted table fan, food preparation was OK but served in bad hygienic condition. Cultural programme was hopeless, I would recommend please choose any other tents, total loss of hard earned money

Unclean property, broken and leaking toilet, no towel / toileteries, food pathetic, untrained, stray dog entering hotel. Hotel staff did whatever best they could to solve my issues but MMT is complete rubbish as they promoted a 1000 Rs property (as was told by locals at 6500 Rs. MMT assured kept call on hold for 30 minutes at middle of night. MMT assured is complete useless propanganda.

We stayed there for two nights, The service was a excellent ,. The owner went out of his way to make our stay very comfortable, the food was good, and the culture program at night ( dance, music) was very good, we love to go again ,, ASHOK KUMAR LALLY

Wonderful experience! Reception was very good specially Haneb was very helpful. Most of the credit goes to the camp staff in managing the programs and rides. I was a great experience overall. Non veg was not available and tent could be bit more maintained.

Camp location was OK type. Food was sufficient but less tastey and limited option. We were informed at the last moment the non veg food were available if informed before. But they didn't gave any opinions. No welcome drink as per the schedule. They just told if we need tea then we may order. But at noon we were not in a mood of taking tea. Evening cultural program was average. The most disgusting thing was there pic up and drop car policy. They hiked the price suddenly and provide non AC car during return. It was surprised us the most.

It was a 1 day stay. But the stay was really wonderful. Most of the credit goes to the camp staff. I must stay they are very cordial and customer satisfaction seems their utmost priority. You can just tell them what do you want and rest is better to leave for them. They will definitely arrange it.
