Excellent Stay
familyIt was a great experience. Our host was very helpful. He was extremely polite and helpful. He helped us plan our itinerary. Also the location is perfect, away from the city, close to nature and spacious. The beach is close to resort and walkable and very private. Had a great stay at the resort.

Overpriced property with least facilities
Room and washroom was not tidy. Washroom was leaking and owner was asking extra money for bedding but i have already paid for triple occupancy

So peaceful and calm
Its a wonderful place, along with beach side cliff. Not as a couple as an family u can enjoy this place more. It's my second time there. 1st time a got there with my frnds, and it's also an wonderful memory for them

Nice cozy place, great hospitality
Aa we reached the resort first thing we saw a full grown peacock in the campus, resort is well maintained although it was rainy season so some extra grasses. Owner suresh babu is very helpful, resort it self has a cliff for a view for the sea. Also suresh took us to the nearest meenkunnu beach, which is again a very peaceful place. Overall it was a nice experience. Note - better check with the owner for correct route, coz google shows narrow root, not preferred for big size vehicles.

Average Stay
The hosts were friendly and helpful but the hotel rooms and the premises needs to be renovated. The location is quiet good but the facilities there, like children's play area, benches etc needs to be maintained better.

Nice place for weekends
Nice place and nice stay. Everyone in their very frndly and also there is a cliff along with resort. Nice place to take photos and enjoy with frnds, family, couples.

Stay with a great view
The stay was so serene and calming. The food is delicious. The beach is literally few metres away. Highly recommended!

Terrible Stay
so the owner is very good and kind, the property (if maintained properly) is beautiful that's two points are positive the care taker is in his own world. who won't listen. now let me told you. we came here to celebrate our anniversary. even when we cut our cake, there was none except us, so we don't have any pictures of that moment (even the owner lives somewhere else) the property is in it's worst shape. uncle maintained that pre covid only. the location is very far from all the visiting places. no food inside but yes kitchen is there u can cook. rooms are in very bad condition with very bad smell even i broomed my room so that i can sleep. most of the things are not in order. i was very excited to see the kids area but that's the worst part. i can write an essay but showing you some pictures you guys can understand. i cancelled my second day booking and going back today only. if you don't wanna waste your money and your important day plz don't come here, until the owner get this place maintained. i want my day, my money and my time back. but that's no possible to trying to save another's. that's it. regards anmolika

Bad experience
Although the location is good it's very remote and not worth the amount charged. We ended up paying 500 for 5 eggs egg curry and 300 for 15 odd appams. This place loots you when it comes to food. So please do not order any food here

Simply breathtaking
From all the reviews, I knew Meenkunnu Beach Resort was a good choice, but I didn't expect to be treated that well. Suresh uncle and Raji aunty have been the best hosts and treated us like their own children. Even though we arrived 6 hours before check in, they gave us a room as they'd promised to do. They made a list for us, since we didn't have any concrete plans and did their best to connect us to people who would drive us part of the way or drop us themselves. The food was delicious and reminded us of home. The property itself is homely and makes you never want to leave. They have a new one coming up with a better view of the beach, and we can't wait to stay there! It's perfect for a relaxing weekend getaway with friends, family or your significant other. They have hammocks, a play area, a gorgeous view of the sunset and Meenkunnu Beach, if you want to get into the water, is 20 minutes away. All in all, it was very satisfying to be hosted by some wonderful people at a wonderful place. Thank you, Suresh uncle and Raji aunty!

Good stay, neat ND tidy rooms, pleasant surroundings, Worth travelling to this place. Then NEGS. Tv had no cable access ND kids play areas needs to be tidy. Food could be made better.

Good Resort
Good and clean place and place for both family and friends group. Hotel is little far from Kannur bust stand but value for money. As am pure vegetarian food not taken so not able to review.
