Rooms and Hotel is good. But staff not all co operative as well not interested to take any initiative to take our concern. Urgently need to travel to Cochin one day before and requested for one day cancellation. Manager as per policy he not deviating the policy and procedure. So check out one day before. Lost 1 day payment of My firm.

I had a pleasant stay at Hotel Malabar Residency on 12th July. The hotel is conveniently located at a prime spot, just a short walk from the railway station, which made commuting hassle-free. The staff were very polite and courteous throughout my stay. The room was clean, well-maintained, and provided a comfortable experience. Overall, a good choice for both business and leisure travelers. Would recommend!

The interiors were quite underwhelming, with furniture and fixtures appearing noticeably outdated. Additionally, the bedsheets provided were not clean, which was particularly disappointing. Overall, the experience did not meet expectations.

My stay at Malabar Residency was good. The only thing that was lacking was there wasn’t any bell boy in the hotel to carry your luggage to the roomand back. On the whole it was a comfortable stay

Unsatisfactory Experience at Malabar Residency, Kannur. I stayed at Malabar Residency in Kannur and regrettably, my experience did not meet expectations. The cleanliness of the room was substandard and my room was not cleaned till I checked out and a bathroom that appeared inadequately cleaned. Additionally, the quality of the breakfast was poor, with limited variety and items that lacked freshness and appeal, the noise levels were unbearable, especially at night, making it difficult to get proper rest. I would advise future guests to consider alternative accommodations until notable improvements are made in hygiene, food service, and overall guest comfort.

Our stay at Malabar Residency Kannur was great! The room was spacious, food at Barkha was amazing, staff were friendly and very helpful. They were prompt, in fact from reception to the staff all efficient. Special mention goes out to Miss Teena, who was very warm and friendly. Will visit your hotel whenever time permits and will definitely recommend to our friends for a comfortable stay. Keep up the good work always!

Nice, clean room , toilet and sanitary. stayed for 2 nights and linen was changed after 1st day. Room felt claustrophobic, as there was no window for a day light.

Stay was good and comfortable felt bit high on the pricing side. Food was excellent I like the restaurant

Unethical and Frustrating Experience – Be Cautious! I booked this hotel through MakeMyTrip with a “Free Cancellation till Check-in” policy. However, on the day of check-in, my booking was missing from my MakeMyTrip app, making it impossible to cancel. I was using my India mobile number and immediately called the hotel to request cancellation. When I called, the hotel confirmed that the booking was under my name and assured me they would cancel it. I followed up the next day, and they again confirmed they would handle the cancellation. However, on the third day, they suddenly changed their stance and said only MakeMyTrip could cancel it. By this time, I was unable to reach MakeMyTrip’s customer support as my booking ID was not being recognized in their system. This was a highly unprofessional experience. If the hotel initially confirmed they would cancel, why did they later refuse? This kind of miscommunication and lack of accountability is unacceptable. I am still waiting for my refund and have received no proper response from either the hotel or MakeMyTrip. Be cautious when booking here—customer service and commitment to policies seem unreliable.

Hotel should hire some person in restaurants who knows at-least english. Whoever is not from kerela they will have issue to connect with restaurants staff. At breakfast time i asked for bread omelet they gave worst bread omelet and blamed me that i have given order for 2 plates but both plate was worst. Requesting you to hire people who knows english to communicate with all the region people.

Very poor and front desk person rude behaviour (his name fiyas) he is disconnecting phone while talking and he is not fit for front desk very very bad behaviours trying to escalate to managers but no response from them.

Great experience i had. Best service at front office, house keeping & room service. Rates are bit higher, unfortunately i checked in at 9:45pm & out at 9:00am, hence i couldn’t explore more.

Great location, very close to railway station, bus stand, market and the beach. Nice clean room with clean bathroom.

Food quality and it's services was pathetic. Room is too spacious and looks fine. This is the second time i ate from there restaurant and it's waste of money.
