The name might have “Ayur” in it, but don’t be fooled — there’s nothing Ayurvedic about this place. There is no private beach access despite what the pictures suggest. Between the property and the beach is a public walkway, so expect a constant flow of people passing by. The swimming pool is right next to this walkway and in full view of everyone — the atmosphere feels less like a peaceful resort and more like a crowded bus stand.
The property allows bachelor groups, so if you’re a couple or family, be prepared for the noise and lack of privacy that comes with it. The pool is small, the rooms even smaller — matchboxes feel more spacious. Smoking are allowed, occupying the picnic tables. Rooms have no TV, and the bathrooms have flimsy plastic doors and latches.
If you’re looking for a quiet, classy getaway with privacy, a private beach, and space to relax, this is not the place. I visited during off-season and it was already noisy and chaotic — peak season could only be worse. Families, especially, should look elsewhere.
