Review Of K R Resort

KR resort is beautiful. Could be a bit more cleaner though. Amenities and Services are not bad. The staff is very polite.

Rooms are good. But the services are very bad. Food quality is good but restaurant service is very bad. According to the location, room rent is very high.

We stayed for two nights. The resort was very well maintained and at a beautiful location. They have their own restaurant and the food is of good quality and quantity. We are quite satisfied about the stay in K R Resort.

Resort location very nice and short distance from temple..staff behavior are very good and helpful .. Environment is very nice.....

The place is amazing. The location of resort is very good, just 5 minutes walking distance from panachalingeswar temple. Wonderful hill view from balcony. The rooms were clean and very comfortable, with elegant decor. The hotel had a relaxing atmosphere with lawn, park and flowers. The staff was friendly and helpful. The foods were tasty with reasonable price. I would definitely stay here again in future. Thank you so much.

I had a wounderful stay at K R Resort previously known as OTDC Panthanivas for 4 days and 3 nights. The location of the resort is just 5 minutes walking distance from Panchalingeswar Temple, Balasore Odissa. The rooms were clean and the staff were friendly and helpful, always trying to make our stay comfortable. Our rooms and attached wash room was spaciuos and well equipped with all mordern amenities with a lovely view of hills. The foods was delicious with reasonable price and excellent service. I highly recommend this resort for its overall value and positive experience.

Property is below average. Not at all comparable to the cost. Food is pathetic Room condition is old, small & not much inside the property. Specially the Manager has no clue about the hospitality industry. A big 0 (Zero) star for the stay. Will suggest people not to book the hotel no matter what they see on the you tube, you will land up waiting your money

Cleaniness is a big issue here ! Dirty wardrobe to bathroom nothing is maintained not even the basic. Rest superb location, spacious cottage room, great service by staffs and yummy food !

Let me start with the Pros 1. Location is good, walking distance to Panchalingeswar Temple 2. Property is well maintained, one of the best in that location 3. Staff behaviour is good and polite Cons 1. There was only one staff member to handle food, hence room service was sometimes delayed. 2. Hygiene was an issue since the washroom was not so clean , there was no rack over the wash basin and no toiletries were provided. 3. Food could have been better taste wise. Overall, it was a peaceful stay with family. The resort looked really nice during the evening. Had a good time.

pathetic condition, no electricity for 3 hr, no backup,stinking bathroom,no water in bathroom,no drinking water after repeated reminder. room condition very bad, bathroom door can't close, dinner is not good, staff behaviour not acceptable.

The stay was pleasant and comfortable. Resort was clean. Only issue was behavior of some of the staffs. Specifically a lady cleaning staff, they should behave politely with the guests. Overall good experience.

Good enough for stay at the lap of nilgiri mountain. Stuffs are well behaved. Foods are also fresh and tasty.

We have stayed in this hotel in mid sept 2024 for 1 night. We have booked for 1 treehouse and 1 executive room. Since there was renovation going on for executive room, they have upgraded to treehouse with little extra charge. Location wise its very good, amid-st of panchalingeswar hills. The temple gate is at walking distance of approx 1 km. Treehouse is the premium option, newly built, spacious. As amenities they have provided towels, shower gel, shampoo gel, soap as complimentary. The food taste is good, cost quantity wise good. Amid-st of continuous rain, they have provided room service also in night. There is a dining hall with restaurant. Only drawback is you have to order early as the preparation time is little slow. There are couple of tour packages available from resort however we have observed its on the costlier side probably since the place is remote and 35 kms away from balasore town. For cost effectiveness, it better to book tour from balasore itself - no need to stay for driver as such. Kuldiha forest is also nearby though we did not get a chance to visit due to time and rain. Panchalingeswar temple trek will take around 1. 30-2 hrs considering speed of walk in the early morning. Finally we did not see much outside eatery option here so you have to take food inside resort mostly.

Location is good. Food is tasty. Services are also good. It is located at a 10 m distance from the parking lot of panchlingeshwar hill. The ambience of the resort is also good.

Good hospitality of staff. Food was also good. Ample space for parking. Excellent location. Ratings 9/10.

It was an excellent stay. The food was exceptionally well prepared. The staffs courtesy was awesome. Shall love to visit again.

The location was good. The room was spacious but not well maintained (can see spider webs in the room. The service was below average (took order for dinner and at the time of serving they realized that they didn't have the ingredients to cook the dish! had to take a different dish. Tv was not working (after repeated follow up for more than three hours they recharged the dish-tv account. Overall a below average hotel.

The below standard rooms were booked at exorbitant rates which were revealed after we had arrived at the property. The complimentary breakfast was also not included in the booking.
