Jacaranda estate is well maintained property, plum-tree and other cottages are well kept but the jacaranda cottage needs little maintenance

It was a family trip for us with our 1 year old daughter and elderly parents but the experience was not something we’d like to remember. Property owner raita sawhney is not welcoming, and has attitude. We made 2 bookings of 2 diff kinds of rooms and right after we reached she told us am giving you one room as complimentary (free) even when we had paid all in advance. Then there were issues with water supply, there was hardly any water when we reached and then it was told to us that they are facing water shortage and we have to use water carefully. We had to make multiple calls to the manager ( obviously didn’t pick) at 11 pm bcoz there ws no water. Flushing button in the toilet tank didn’t work in one room, elderly parents had to fill up buckets (whenever water was there) and put in the toilet. Imagine paying a total of for accommodation and doing all this! there was no heads-up given to us on the water shortage before our travel even when she knew we’re traveling with an infant and elderly parents. These things set aside, the thing that hurt us the most was when she refused to let us sit in the open dining area which had good lighting at night saying that it is only to be used when you are eating food. I wanted to take my daughter there as she was being cranky and not eating her food but the owner didn’t bother. All in all she takes bookings just to make money but doesn’t serve the guests well and is unwelcoming to them!

1st of all, the staff and owner dont know how to talk to customers. Absolutely no idea what hospitality is. 2. The room that i booked through makemytrip was right in the parking area. The room entrance was literally in the parking area which is not acceptable at all. We have to force upgrade the room paying 5000 extra. 3. The owner treats people booking from mmt differently. She says that now mmt takes commission and most of the money is gone. Taking rudely as if we have done some crime. No manners what so ever.

Location of the property was very beautiful. The property was also good. It was a secure place. Rooms were pretty good. Staff was good and cooperative. They provided food, but food items were costly. I will suggest them to providing complimentary breakfast and also provide food at a cheaper price.
