Mahasu House

As the name says, you will only be thanking enough to select this property for your vacation. Everything is just beyond perfect. Location, ambience, people and food can give any 7 star also a cake walk. Don’t think twice before visiting the second heaven on earth. It’s a mini switzerland.

There are numerous pictures that are posted across that show the beauty of this place, the reviews also were fairly positive at all places, but what we missed noticing in any review was the part mentioning the awesome feel of the place. This place apart from being very beautifully and thoughtfully designed has a super positive feel and that feel is in every corner of this place. I will love to visit here again and again whenever i'll need a refresh button pressed for myself

Mahasu house is an fantastic property for travelers looking for a place outside the hustle and bustle of crowded Shimla. The staff and service is superb. Great view tasty food peaceful place. Thank you to Lalit and Shobha and the entire staff for making our stay memorable.

Overall it was great experience, property is really good and staff is quite supporting.

Road is bit scary for 4km, can't travel after 7, breakfast is very limited, can't order after 10.

The views from the property are truly something to travel for. Though a few properties have come up below, the untouched peaks and ever present mist, clouds and greenery makes up from the little crowded feeling you might have. Although, nothing compared to parts of Shimla where it feels like Delhi. The staff, their service and food is very comforting and makes you feel valued

Very beautiful place, away from hustle bustle of City with splendid view of nature, clean rooms, nice n well behaved staff, food quality was good. A must visit place for those who wants to spend time in lap of nature

It is a beautiful place to stay I can say it is one of the to best place to stay in Mashobra. Owners of the property are very friendly and they made sure that our stay was comfortable. Staff is very helpful as well. Food was very tasteful and yummy. I will definitely recommend this property to everyone and will definitely myself visit the place again.

Situated in a remote area. Also found it to be little expensive. Staff was great food was good too.

Best views, and very very kind and hospitable staff. Had a wonderful 3 day stay with delicious food and kind hospitality. However if ur looking to have fancy food, Shimla isn’t ur place to go to. But you could be pleasantly surprised with the food cooked at Mahasu house. They took care of us like family. A small intimate setting. Good clean toilets, well maintained and Thoughtfully done interiors. Will go again.

Location wise it is easy to reach rooms are good, heater and thermostats setup and well functional. Thermostat in bathroom is good idea but the service is very poor specially food is below average as per the tariff, location wise it is easy to reach.

Room are beautiful, well equipped with, staff services excellent. Location is remote from city but worth if you love to spend some quality time. Me and my wife travelled in end of Nov to this place for our Anniversary. It's a quaint and well furnished property, located off the beaten path, offering much privacy and respite from crowds of Shimla, Kufri or Fagu. The people who manage this place are enthusiastic and know how keep hospitality standards high. The place has good in room and other amenities (WiFi, heating) making our stay very comfortable. I made a special request for arranging an anniversary cake for us and they delivered nicely. Food was reasonably well made and they do feed you good !. All all a good place if you willing to shell out the bucks and won't be disappointed. Just note that being on west side of the hill, surrounded by dense forests, this place gets sunlight post 11:00 am, so you may miss out on the morning sun! Otherwise it's nothing short of a great experience !!
