I had a visit in Sylvan Vistas Homestay This is my and my pet's first ever homestay I had always in thoughts that homestay can be bit commanding for me and Samarth ( my pet) The owner might be not very ok for the freedom I would seek with my pet And vs Sylvan Vistas Homestay | Rooms & Caretaker Wherein u pay and take the comfort on demand. Let me tell my experience with this homestay I reached this place quite early of my check-in time This beautiful house is owned by very humble family At 9 AM I entered their place And uncle very sweetly welcomes us By saying, hey good morning, welcome!! There is beautiful, sweet lady Avantika who then came to check our check in And assured us Wifi Any breakfast if required We could wait in their mesmerizing garden area Where in a swing hammock was waiting for me and my bachcha. I could sit and see the beauty in front of my eyes . This place is so soothing, That positive vibe let's u stay here only, I just wanted to stay and feel that m amidst the beauty of nature Let me tell that I came here to visit Narkanda thinking that temp will be cool enough. However this property and the maintanence, neatness at every corner, Made me spend max time here only For people who are coming from noise, radiations, The peace around and in sylvan Taken me up to my solitude. I could meditate for more than the time I do l. They say when u see beauty beyond your expectations that's emotional I could relate it here. It made me emotional when I saw the view from my room. May be this is why as I understand what's the value of nature for us. Food: everything they served was homemade. That made me feel more comfortable. Hospitality: They don't ask for ur food order, They ask: would you like to do dinner with us!! ❤️ M sorry to Avantika that I fell sick and could not make most of it. If I would have been better than definitely she would be seeing me all the time walking in around her gardens I have to admit , sylvan is beautiful place to stay because of its people.

Upon arrival, the first thing that stole our breath away was the view. Lush valleys carpeted in emerald green stretched as far as the eye could see, punctuated by the occasional wisp of mist clinging to the distant peaks. Sylvan vistas itself was a haven of tranquility. Apple orchards, heavy with ripening fruit, bordered the property, their sweet fragrance mingling with the crisp mountain air. A vibrant tapestry of wildflowers bloomed by the entrance, a symphony of color against the backdrop of snow-capped mountains. Our room, a cozy haven with a balcony overlooking the valley, was a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort. The silence, broken only by the chirping of crickets and the rustle of leaves, was a welcome change from the city's relentless cacophony. Days at sylvan vistas were a delightful exploration of nature's bounty. We embarked on gentle hikes through fragrant pine forests, their cool, earthy scent a balm to the soul. One afternoon, we stumbled upon a hidden waterfall, its cascading waters a symphony of sound and light. My children, forever full of boundless energy, chased ****erflies amid-st the wildflowers, their laughter echoing through the valley. Our evenings were filled with heartwarming moments. We played board games by the crackling fireplace, the flickering flames casting dancing shadows on the room. Avantika, our gracious host, regaled us with local folktales, her stories transporting us to a bygone era. We indulged in delicious home-cooked meals, each dish a burst of flavor reflecting the culinary heritage of the region. The warmth of the family-like atmosphere at sylvan vistas made us feel like we belonged, a world away from the impersonal Sylvan Vistas Homestay | Rooms & Caretakers.

We stayed for a brief period of two days and we are quite satisfied and happy with the overall experience that we got. The stay is located in a serene and quiet backdrop of mashobara, in puran koti, which is around 15-20 kms from shimla isbt. The location provided was exact and there was no hassle in reaching there. The property manager, mr shuchi treated us with a warm welcome and was there on call anytime needed. A great hospitality on his part. He made sure that we never faced any discomfort. The food is also great and the cook ms. Monika is a genuinely nice person. She made sure we ate good food and also ensured great room service. However, there was one hiccup that i'd like to mention here and that is the housekeeping staff mr umesh. He tries to make commission money if you ask him for help in getting a cab or any other third party services. Even then, he was not available on call anytime i tried to reach out and disconnected every time saying 'i am busy, which seemed very abrupt and rude. Even during our checkout, he was there but ignored us and didn't even wish anything, let alone taking our luggage to the cab. He alone took down our overall experience a notch. But yes, overall we enjoyed our stay at sylvan vistas homestay and it was a delightful experience. P s. You can see great sunset and sunrise from the terrace of the stay. Thanks, santshree sinha

If someone is looking for some peace and solace, away from people and the hustle of the city, this is probably the one of the best places to choose. I extended my stay by one day after experiencing the calmness this place has to offer. The hosts are amazing, i got my room upgraded to a better room even without asking. Although the place is completely secluded from the main city, the hosts take care of any kind of requirements one may have. The most amazing thing which one can definitely expect to get here is the hospitality of the hosts, which alone makes this by far one the best homestays i've ever stayed.

Everything about the Sylvan Vistas Homestay | Rooms & Caretaker was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service in where we had dinner. Food was good and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.

We had a wonderful stay at the sylvan vistas homestay! the rooms were exactly same as shown in the pictures - and the view from the rooms was superb! the best part of the stay is the yummy-licious food - you won’t feel that you are away from your home! the property has huge garden space and you can walk around easily and click pictures ) overall it was a great experience and would highly recommend to book this place without any second thoughts )

A must visit for those who wants to have a perfect and peaceful stay. Hosts are very polite. This place feels like family. Everyone here is supportive. You'll be asked for your choice of food and it'll be provided in time. Each room had an awesome mountain view. The rooms were clean, and the food was delicious. It's a wonderful place. I would have given 10 stars if it was possible. Definitely visiting again!

Nice stay Love it neat and clean rooms

This is a nice cozy homestay located in outskirts, far from the crowded Shimla. The hosts (Avantika and Family) are so overwhelming. We got an upgrade for our rooms. The location is so pleasant. Overall a very comfy place.
