Hospitality & Service:
The staff was polite and welcoming, but service in both the restaurant and room service could be more attentive and prompt. A little extra focus on guest needs would make the experience smoother and more enjoyable.
Food & Breakfast:
The food was decent but somewhat average for a resort of this standard. The breakfast buffet, in particular, could be improved. Several items lacked proper taste and texture, especially the bakery selections such as Danish pastries, croissants, and cakes. Including milkshakes and expanding the breakfast spread with more South Indian options like bajji, wada, lemon rice, and upma would make the offering more satisfying and well-rounded.
Rooms & Cleanliness:
The rooms were comfortable, but housekeeping needs more attention. Dust was visible around the corners of sofas and under the beds, which suggested that vacuum cleaning was not carried out thoroughly. A higher standard of cleanliness would add significantly to guest comfort.
Overall:
Ikshana Resort and Spa offers a pleasant stay with good hospitality and ambiance, but enhancing food quality, increasing menu variety, and ensuring thorough housekeeping will help elevate it to the next level. With these improvements, it has the potential to become a top choice for travelers in the region.
