The Dukes Retreat, Khandala

I'd like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to Ms. Deepa and the entire Dukes Retreat team for their exceptional hospitality. Our stay was truly unforgettable, thanks to the engaging activities like pot-making with Mr. Balkrishna and Family Caricature with Mr Keeru. A special shoutout to Mr. Singer (forgot his name), whose soothing performance during Hi-Tea made our evening incredibly relaxing and enjoyable. The rooms were impeccably maintained, offering breathtaking cliff views and a cozy sit-out area that added to our delight. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our time at Dukes Retreat, and we're already looking forward to revisiting. Thank you, Dukes Retreat team, for the thoughtful gesture of presenting us with a memento and cheese cake – it was the perfect ending to a wonderful stay. Your dedication to making every guest feel special is truly appreciated.

we went to Dukes Retreat Lonavla in May 2025 and booked 2 rooms, one cliff facing and one with sit out area. the one facing Cliff was definitely better specially for the monsoon season. Staff was very courteous and friendly and happy to offer all support where needed. The breakfast spread variety and taste is something to die for, I haven't seen that in the best of 5 stars also. look for Sanket as he made it just perfect for us. you will tend to overeat for sure. swimming pool and outside amenities were wonderful. The Italian restaurant and bAr are both a delight to spend some time together with friends or family. Overall a great experience and a must visit place. I am going to be here back soon. cheers

The view from the property are breathtaking as it is situated on the Pune Mumbai Expressway at Khandala. There are many scenic spots to visit nearby to the property. Well, when you come to any resort, food taste of restaurent is of paramount importance which we think it was lacking. Food was ok ok for us, however, the buffet at Dinner and breakfast was better. It also has Pottery session organized inside campus. It was little less value of money if you compare the whole package with all the amenities you get. It has valet parking and ample of space for car parking. As of May 2025, garden area was under construction and had prohibited access. Hope it opens soon for the public.

We have been visiting dukes for many years now, however, the recent visit was absolutely a surprise and superlative experience! With the change in mgmt and expansion, everything about the resort has changed for the better - the landscape, rooms, hygiene, service, activities, food, all of it! They also have a dedicated Italian restaurant with authentic recipes and delights. Young enthusiastic courteous team members have been recruited making your stay most comfortable. New recreational activities have been added - Sakshi, kiran, the pottery guy all are great at engaging the kids. Kudos to the team! Keep up the good work!

dukes retreat,khandala is a perfect place for family vacation. I can recommend 5*ratings to this property. everything is excellent. staff is very well mannered. service is excellent. must visit place.they give u more than what they commit.

This is a very good property with outstanding views of khandala valley. We found the bar and dinner/ breakfast spread also pretty good. Noticed some minor leakage etc during monsoon but overall very good property and stay

The property is recently renovated. Stay, food, service, natural views were amazing. A'la Carte options were good. Buffet dinner was average. Do maintain the property, quality and service..

Dukes retreat is a decent luxury The Dukes Retreat, Khandala. View is not that great from valley view with sit out.

book cliff view room, its wonderful view to cliff and waterfall room is clean and food is awesome my 6 yr old enjoyed alot in swimming pool and horse ride as well.

Stay was wonderful. Rooms were clean and We loved the the view from our room. Food was tasty and there was live counter as for breakfast and eve snack.

This The Dukes Retreat, Khandala has far improved after its takeover by Rahejas. Wonderful view, great food, no messy or crowded restaurants. Truely a premium stay, the best in Khandala
