A Memorable Stay Just Minutes from Kashi Vishwanath Temple
I recently stayed at Hotel Samman for 11 days, and the experience was absolutely wonderful. The hotel is located just 5 minutes away from the Kashi Vishwanath Temple, which made it very convenient for daily visits and exploring the spiritual charm of Varanasi. The hospitality and service were excellent throughout my stay. The staff was polite, helpful, and always attentive to any requests, making me feel comfortable and well cared for. The rooms were clean, well-maintained, and provided all the necessary amenities for a pleasant long stay. What I really appreciated was the peaceful atmosphere inside the hotel, despite being so close to the bustling temple area. It gave me the perfect balance of convenience and comfort. Overall, my stay at Hotel Samman was truly memorable, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Kashi, especially those who want to stay close to the temple while enjoying a comfortable and welcoming environment.

The hotel is very old building, have to climb 3-4 floors every time. The rooms and the hotel badly needs renovation, only saving grace being helping and humble staff and the AC in the room.

This was 3 year consecutive stay and the location is awesome. The staff is always available to help and address any needs and Mr Bhattacharya is very very humble and guides very well for mandir visits and local exploration

staff was supportive, I booked for my parents, so they were taking Care of them well. considering hotel don't have lift facility on my request they change room on lower floor

Good Property for the price and value for money. Well maintained property, Neat and clean. During Savan (Sharvan) please note that the approach roads are blocked for traffic. Close to Ghat and temple. Very close to Junction from where transport is available.

Best part about the hotel is the location its near to Kashi Vishwanath Temple its near to major Ghats probably a walking time will take 15 mins to access all the major sites. Staffs are well behaved. Overall a good experience.

It was a good and clean hotel I would definitely recommend it. However, I suggest that they include air conditioning as a basic facility for all rooms, rather than charging separately for AC and offering different prices for non AC rooms. This should be a standard service in a hotel. That said, I’m not giving a bad rating the location was perfect. The temple is very close, and the ghats are just a 5-minute walk away, which makes it convenient even for night visits.

We stayed at two different places - Hotel Samman, which is conveniently located near all the major attractions including the Kashi Vishwanath Temple and Dashashwamedh Ghat, and Garden Villa near Assi Ghat, which offered a peaceful and homely vibe. Both hotels had exceptionally warm and welcoming staff who made our trip even more memorable with their hospitality and prompt service.
