Review Of HOTEL HIGHWAY INN

Previously, it was a good and well managed hotel. But now it's not managed properly. It offers all the amenities but lacks in small small service/things which make long stay hard. I think it's not run by professionals any more.

Room was average in cleanliness. Breakfast has got only couple of options: Paratha and Bread! Room Service is pathetically poor.

Worst hotel and so unprofessional staff. It seems that hotel owner doesn't care about the property. dirty to next level. no wifi working, no inhouse landline working, bed sheet and pillow with stains, no water bottle kept, no tea and coffee kept, kettle was rotten, cockroaches in washroom and room. Taps and shower area so dirty. I would not even rate 1 star ⭐ for it. Owner was also saying that i understand it's not been taken care but that's how it is and she said if your wish if you want to come again or not.

Very poor checkin experience. Pathetic rooms with no hygiene at all. Won’t suggest this hotel even for budget conscious travelers.

Came to visit Chandigarh. Booked this hotel for the location . Hotel is sub far for the details mentioned. There were no towels, soaps and were given only after asking them. The phones in the room do not work at all. For any request, we have to go personally downstairs to the reception and ask in person. The Ac was not working on one room and fan was not properly working in another room. The amenities are not proper and the charges are exorbitant for the facilities given. Rooms are full of cockroaches, that’s one thing you will get without asking. Overall we did not have a good experience.

Service was very poor. Hygiene was not maintained in the rooms. Hotel is exploiting the guests as there was nothing available in the breakfast. They provided parantha on asking with curd. That was not available at the serving table but was giving to the fellow who was demanding. Very bad experience overall.

Maintenance is very poor. So many issues. Ac did not work, wifi didnot work. Floor is terrible. Looks like a lodge. Not at all worth for money

It was disgusting experience: 1. No room service available 2. Nobody picks up calls for room services 3. No wifi 4. No water in room 5. No power for some or the other reason 6. No hot water 7. Small cockroaches in the room 8. Tv also does t work really bad experience

I would say that the overall experience was terrible. Though the location of hotel is good, but all other aspects. Amenities, hygiene, cleanliness, services, food. Were bad. Room was not clean, curtains, bed linens were stained, walls had issues, fan was full of muck and dirt didn't feel like switching on the fan, felt the entire muck will come down to us. Washroom was absolutely bad in terms of basic cleanliness, you could see stains all across. Water overflowed from the bath area. In terms of service, looked like everything was ingnored, cups and left overs were seen outside all the rooms which were not cleared even after 12 hrs. Looked like the hotel was understaffed only 2-3 people were managing the hotel, housekeeping, reception, restaurant. Breakfast was served only after 9 am. That too was very limited. Restaurant was also not cleaned properly. Can't think to visiting this place ever again in my life.

We booked room with breakfast, but they don't even have cook in there hotel i guess. The staff is only 3 persons including receptionist. We order for tea and get in 1 and half hour after 3 to 4 times follow-up.

The room was having ants and also cleaning are not done as requested

Really bad place. Reception phone doesn't work. Lift stinks. Unhygienic and claustrophobic rooms, plumbing electrical issues. Everything wrong with this hotel

Its not worth staying at this property at given price . There was cigarette smell in the room, encountered with cockroaches in washroom & room size also quite compact. Washroom toiletries were also below par like shampoo was clinic plus & soap was too ordinary. Not worth staying in this property.

Everything was great about hotel. Specially the cleanliness. The staff was amazing and very helpful. Loved it.

No slippers given by the hotel. The deluxe room size is not big. Don't include breakfast because they have only paranta, tea, and sandwiches in the breakfast buffet.

Rooms are comfortable. Spacious, very convenient location from airport. Staff is very courteous and helpful

Location is good. Service was okay. They charged higher for food/water bottle. In my personal experience, nearby hotel kenview is a better option within the same price range.

Good location, awesome food quality, but breakfast needed some improvement like juices, south indians, fruits varieties. Staffs- very cooperative & professional. Overall good stay.
