I recently had the pleasure of staying at Heritage Resort, Kausani, and it was an unforgettable experience that exceeded all expectations. Nestled amidst the tranquil hills of Uttarakhand, the resort offers a breathtaking panoramic view of the majestic Himalayan peaks. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was warm and genuine. The staff was courteous, attentive, and always ready to go the extra mile to ensure our comfort. The check-in process was smooth, and we were greeted with a welcome drink and a smile. The rooms were spacious, clean, and beautifully furnished, with large windows and private balconies offering stunning mountain views. Waking up to the sight of golden sunrays hitting snow-capped peaks was truly magical. The food at the in-house restaurant was delicious, with a great balance of local Kumaoni cuisine and North Indian dishes. Everything was fresh and made to order. The dining area also offers open-air seating, which makes every meal a memorable experience with the surrounding views and fresh mountain air. The resort is well-maintained, with beautiful gardens, peaceful walking trails, and plenty of seating areas to relax with a book or a cup of tea. Food was very delicious. Enjoyed different types of breakfast daily. Food service was very good. Property location was very good. Clear view of the Himalayas seen. Room service was very good. We enjoyed pahadi nritya at night near fire place also.

it is a nice location and a very decent property. The people who serve are also humble and very supportive. The challenge is on two fronts ....one the prices of food is double the market rate. Secondly, the billing folks are unwillingly to accept the voucher norms, eg, 10% discount, whichever had to literally argue to get from them. Those visiting need to be careful not to get overcharged.

Location is very good.you can see the Himalayan range if the climate is clear.food is wonderful ,especially chicken curry and mutton curry .And most wonderful is staff (especially Deepak) they are very helpful and make you stay very comfortable.

The resort location is superb. With a clear weather you can see the Himalayan peaks. Food is really good and the staff is very courteous. Rooms are spacious and well maintained. Evening bonfire and local dance performance by the staff keep you engaged.

Good views but need to be aware that there is no central heating

Hotel had very good view of Himalayan range and room service is also good. Room do not have central heating and small room heater is not adequate for cod weather. Water geyser is also very small and not effective for providing hot water.

The resort is very nice. Rooms are clean and has regular amenities. The rooms offer good view of the peaks. Overall it is nice property. It is 5 km downhill from main kausani town which is the only con. The view from main town at top are much better.
