Rose Cottage & Himalayan Views Ramgarh

We had one of the most enchanting stay at rose cottage. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and the serene atmosphere. The cottage itself was a cozy and charming retreat, with rustic decor that added to its charm. They have two rooms at the lower level and one master bedroom on the upper floor. The attention to detail in the cottage's design and amenities was impressive with a nice fireplace that can keep one warm and cozy during the chilly evenings of peak winters. Luckily for us the hosts were also there during our visit and they were incredibly welcoming and accommodating, making sure we had everything needed for a memorable stay. We got to learn so much about the cottage itself & surrounding areas, and all the little details and hardwork that went into making a home in the hills. The care takers sunder & pankaj took really good care of us as well. Looking after the smallest of request & being available for us whenever we needed them. Sunder bhaiya is a great cook & caters to any food related request you throw at him with a smile. One night the aunty (host's mother) made caramel custard for us which was the sweetest gesture and we devoured it all. She is a great story teller and painter as well. The fully equipped kitchen allows one to cook as well and enjoy their meals as per convenience & with ease. The comfortable beds ensured a restful night's sleep, and waking up to the sounds of birds chirping and the sight of mighty garhwal himalayan range was a true delight. Exploring the hills and neaby waterfalls was a treat. We also had the pleasure of stargazing from the cottage's patio, where the lack of city lights allowed us to see a sky full of stars. Luckily it was the last supermoon of the year and we just sat there in awe gazing at the way it lit up the surrounding hills. Overall, our stay at the rose cottage in the hills was a magical and rejuvenating experience. It offered the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life, allowing us to reconnect with nature and find serenity in the mountains. We can't wait to return to this idyllic retreat in the future.
