Heritage Resort

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Heritage Resort, Kausani, and it was an unforgettable experience that exceeded all expectations. Nestled amidst the tranquil hills of Uttarakhand, the resort offers a breathtaking panoramic view of the majestic Himalayan peaks. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was warm and genuine. The staff was courteous, attentive, and always ready to go the extra mile to ensure our comfort. The check-in process was smooth, and we were greeted with a welcome drink and a smile. The rooms were spacious, clean, and beautifully furnished, with large windows and private balconies offering stunning mountain views. Waking up to the sight of golden sunrays hitting snow-capped peaks was truly magical. The food at the in-house restaurant was delicious, with a great balance of local Kumaoni cuisine and North Indian dishes. Everything was fresh and made to order. The dining area also offers open-air seating, which makes every meal a memorable experience with the surrounding views and fresh mountain air. The resort is well-maintained, with beautiful gardens, peaceful walking trails, and plenty of seating areas to relax with a book or a cup of tea. The location is perfect — close enough to key attractions like Baijnath Temple, Anasakti Ashram, and tea gardens, yet far from the noise and crowd.

The views of the mountains are spectacular from the room as well as from the balcony. Very clean rooms, excellent meals with talented live music at dinner, friendly staff, and nice location made this a wonderful place to stay.” “I loved the food and the staff".

Awesome view of mountains from this property, nice hospitality, nice food. Well maintained property. Complimentary bonfire with music facility was a very gesture from Heritage Resort. Also, very good service from Heritage Resort. Worth the property and value

The resort location is superb. With a clear weather you can see the Himalayan peaks. Food is really good and the staff is very courteous. Rooms are spacious and well maintained. Evening bonfire and local dance performance by the staff keep you engaged.

The resort is very nice. Rooms are clean and has regular amenities. The rooms offer good view of the peaks. Overall it is nice property. It is 5 km downhill from main kausani town which is the only con. The view from main town at top are much better.

Food was very delicious. Enjoyed different types of breakfast daily. Food service was very good. Property location was very good. Clear view of the Himalayas seen. Room service was very good. We enjoyed pahadi nritya at night near fire place also.

Location is very good.you can see the Himalayan range if the climate is clear.food is wonderful ,especially chicken curry and mutton curry .And most wonderful is staff (especially Deepak) they are very helpful and make you stay very comfortable.

Excellent location and views. Good food, especially breakfast buffet and overall good service. Very close to Tea Gardens and Shawl factory.

Stay at the Heritage Kausani was pleasant. Food in their restaurant was great and we got to see Kumaoni folk dance and culture.
