Review Of Grand Mercure Vadodara Surya Palace- An AccorHotels Brand

One of the best stay so far in Vadodara. Room: I booked a standard room with a king size bed andvit was very comfortable. The room was spacious will a smart tv, a working table. Staff behavior: The staff was very cooperative and well-trained. All the help was provided within 5 mins of my request. They were nice, kind and always happy while serving you. Gym: I used the gym after my walk in saiyajibaug. The gym has 3 Treadmills and1 cycle for cardio. For free weight training, it was having dumbells. Finally, a multi purpose machine that can help you to train your upper body. The room was small but fit for 3-5 ppl working together. Additional: 1. There are other amenities as well like swimming pool but i didn't use. 2. You have the option to order food from outside but you need to come to reception to take the food ordered. 3. We mostly had dinner from the hotel and it was very good. You have the option for buffet or a la carte. 4. Please avoid parking your vehicle in front of the hotel on the opposite sidemelse the it will be towed by the local authorities. Use the hotel parking. 5. 5 mins distance from Vadodara Railway station and 15 mins from Airport

Rooms are very good and food is delicious. Location too is the center of the city. Must consider for working professionals and families.

The location of the hotel is great at it has close proximity to everything in the city. The rooms were clean and very spacious. Also, the hotel staff is very promt in providing services. Loved the breakfast food also.

Amazing property, good food and located in prime location. Only thing which was a concern was the sheets used, After checkin there were few hair on the sheet which was highlighted to the Housekeeper on the floor. But after him changing the sheets there were hair the sheets again. Rest all the food in restaurant was amazing, Turkish coffee is a must try💪🏼

Stay was not as pleasant as I wished it to be since its an Accor group of hotels, I expected a better hospitality. My bathroom was clogged and rather small. Complaint resolution was not as effective as I would like it to be.

Food was horrible. Had to replace twice but still couldn’t get as expected from 5 star hotel. Check-out experience was again pathetic as they couldn’t generate GST invoice. I wont recommend this hotel.

This was my second stay at Surya Baroda along with my wife and it was as good as the previous. Well appointed rooms, top line hygiene, efficient staff with polite helpfulness, decent food (can be better) and a vantage position. Front desk including Anjali was superbly helping. We felt welcomed! Going back again!

A decent hotel with cordial staff , convenient location , room sizes are good. Quite close to railway station.

Ordered for a glass of milk which was served in flask. On pouring milk on the cup could observe black particles . Inspite of paying Rs 236/- you get such unhygienic things.

The location of the property was excellent and well connected to all the main areas of Vadodara. The Amenities and services provided exceeded my expectations and the staff behaviour and support was on par to any other Hotel I've been to. Looking forward to another stay pretty soon.

Grand Mercure is lavish stay with comfortable rooms. The rooms and washrooms are hygienic and clean. The food at Azure is lovely and reasonably priced. The reception, spa and Vanilla cafe staff are very cooperative and friendly. I loved the sunset view from the pool while swimming. Only place for improvement is that pool water was a little saline. Otherwise everything was lovely.

The rooms were clean, comfortable and quiet. I loved the decor and the selection of furniture. the bathroom was a delight. I had booked the suite because 8k for the suite was a steal deal. Food was good too. Not exorbitantly great but good. The only reason I rate it good was they missed to keep my room ready even though I had called them a day ago and informed them of it. I had driven a long way to Baroda and was really low on patience. The staff was kind and courteous and offered me another room until mine was ready but that's just a waste of resources so I declined. Otherwise I have no complaints.
