Praveg Tent City Narmada, Statue of Unity

Makemytrip or the hotel should have told us that Statue of Unity is closed on Monday!! Otherwise the tent itslef was good and also the service was great. Giving 4 rating because of hotel/makemytrip failing to tell us about Ekta nagar closure on Monday

I chose Narmada Tent City based on the high Google ratings, but unfortunately my experience was very disappointing. It seems that many of the 5-star reviews are influenced by complimentary gifts, but my review is completely honest and without any such incentive. The first room allotted to us had a non-functional AC and phone. Due to the phone not working, I had to use my personal mobile to register a complaint. Only late at night were we shifted to another room. Since the reception was far, we also faced difficulty accessing cart services because of the phone issue. In terms of dining, dinner was priced at ₹900 per person (including GST), but the taste and quality were unsatisfactory. The breakfast served the next morning was also not fresh. Overall, I would not recommend staying here.

Overall experience was nice. There were few things the property needs to pay attention to. Cleanliness was not up to the mark. There was water accumulation in the varanda in from of the tent which was making it difficult to get into the tent and use the space for sitting. There was moss threatening slippage and we had to take care to avoid that. Tent facilities were up to the mark. Staff was very cooperative and helpful. Food was really good and was served with a smile.

Property location was good! But unprofessional behaviour of receptionist disappointed me. Also I have listed down all negatives about the property, please note. 1. No welcome drink was provided 2. No bicycle was provided as per commitments, they have charged 200 Rs daily for 3 days 3. No Room service is available.

Food was good but very costly. Tent was just ok ok. Bed and metress were disproportionate in size so there was a gap between the metresses which made sleep less comfortable.

my stay was very positive, and I commend the hotel on its high standards of quality and service. To elevate the guest experience, please consider the following: Room layout could be improved (moving the TV / Ac opposite the bed ) , providing guest with information on all the amenities upon arrival, and introducing an a la carte dining option in addition to the buffet to cater to different preference and budgets. these changes would make a grate hotel even better.
