Extremely Unprofessional & Rude Behaviour – Avoid This Place I stayed at God’s Own Villa, Kovalam, and was shocked at the staff’s attitude. During my stay, I used a towel in the washroom as any guest normally would. Later, I was confronted with an unnecessarily rude and derogatory remark from the staff for simply making the towel wet and leaving it there on washroom floor. This is basic hospitality – towels are meant to be used and washed. Instead of offering courtesy or service, they chose to insult a paying guest stating how would he be able to give towel next guest. Such behaviour is unacceptable in the hospitality industry and reflects a complete lack of training, manners, and respect for customers. Kovalam has plenty of hotels and homestays where guests are treated with dignity. I strongly recommend avoiding this property if you value respectful treatment and professional service.

Enjoyed the stay. Very close to beach and have parking as well. staff was very helpful. The road to hotel is narrow and steep, need to have good driving skills.

The said stay is very long from te main building. Do not recoment. U will get panic with sorrondings. Mosquitos is tr. Cant sleep

Overall stay was okay, it's just a minute walk from the beach which is a good thing. However the rooms though big didn't have any ventilation at all. It was just the glass doors, which you can't technically keep open all the time

Nice experience, location is not easily reachable. Nearby the kovalam beach side. Staff is very friendly. Food is good. Swimming pool is neat and clean

Very neat rooms and the staffs were really friendly. Balcony was good overall it was peaceful.

Rooms are dirty and smell very bad, acs are not working changed my room 3 times and also toilet was not good.

Poor location, nothing can be seen from the balcony, seems to be located in a slum. No much amenities, seems some renovation work is going on, as debris and stuffs are all around.

Renovation work at hotel not disclosed while booking eventhough booking was for 3 people extra bed was not arranged before we arrived towels and toiletries are expected for the price of the room, either not provided before hand or was in short supply

The room had a bad smell. No service. I stayed for 2 days. The 2nd day, they didn't even ask for room cleaning. Land phones are not working properly. To call reception, i need to try dialing 3 to 4 times always. Not hygiene, neither clean.

The property offers spacious rooms, balcony, hygienic bathrooms, restaurant etc. And is hardly 3 minutes walk from the beach. The staff is extremely kind and friendly, they went out of their ways to make us comfortable and facilitated every single request of ours. They also arrange for airport transfers and cabs local sightseeing. Should one expect a peaceful stay to relax and unwind in kovalam, god's own villa is the go-to place. We would highly recommend this property.

The rooms were very dirty and no request to change the rooms was entertained by the management. Even basic laundry and kits were not provided.

Had a comfortable stay in this hotel. Property is located very near to the lighthouse beach. Nice and specious room. Hospitality of mr subodh was great.
