Prie location just beside the Sign Sadan. Located amid lush greenery on all sides. The rooms are very good and well maintained. Food is excellent. Staffs are keen to help.

Reception Check-in service was extremely poor and delayed with no hospitality at the time of check-in. We have to even ask the staff for water while waiting to check-in as only 1 person who seemed untrained to handle check-in operations and took almost 30 mins to complete the process. There was no AC working in reception area and washroom adjacent to it was stinky and not clean. The passage to room looked like a 2 star category hotel. Overall doesn’t seem to be a Taj related property. Location and food was fine but lacks amenities & current amenities are 2-3 star level hotel.

Our stay at Girserai was good. Staff behaviour was very helpful. Property is well maintained.

It was a pleasant experience at Gir Serai, clean and well maintained . Good location just 10 mins walking from Gir Jungle Safari and the local market. Food is descent with very humble staff.

Our stay at the Gir Sarai hotel felt like a cozy guest house, perfectly nestled in an excellent location surrounded by lush jungle scenery. The serene environment added a unique charm to the experience. We thoroughly enjoyed the food, which was delightfully simple yet perfectly suited to our tastes. The room was comfortable and well-maintained, contributing to a pleasant stay.However, one notable drawback was the absence of a lift. While the staff was courteous and readily assisted with luggage, the lack of an elevator made it challenging, especially for elderly guests who found climbing the stairs quite taxing. Adding a lift would greatly enhance accessibility and comfort.Overall, our stay was enjoyable, and the combination of great location, good food, and a homely vibe made it a memorable part of our Gujarat trip.

Location excellent. But amenities not at all suitable for any taj property. Rooms not at all furnished properly. Room charges exhorbitant but not worth it. No spa section, but makeship arrangement in one of the rooms. Food taste and variety unlike tsj. Though staff nice & tried to do all possible by them. Still they alone cannot compensate for lack of amenities.

property is just few meters away from singh sadan gate from where safari jeeps are allotted. Food has limited spread but has good taste. Has well maintained swimming pool, bikes, spa services. However, we didn't use any of these. staff is awesome. Everyone from checkin , restaurent services till checkout was welcoming and helpfull. Only downside could be no lifts, in case you travel with member who needs it. just ensure, you get ground floor rooms. we have room in second floor overlooking pool. rooms are spacious and washrooms are huge too. hotel staff offered us blankets for early morning safari. That itself speaks a lot about how the staff are trained to take good care of guests. Overall, place is excellent. we would like to stay again for my next gir trips.

The overall experience was good. The service was excellent. Food was good. The property however still needs a little bit of the taj elegance touch.

Very clean and a royal place. Best surroundings and well maintained premises. Very polite and trained staff play great host. Only thing i would request facility manager to improve the speed breaker quality which is worse than road bumpers.

The stay was very good only a little bit of upgrading of the rooms and bathrooms required and the breakfast area puha and up-ma needs to be made properly and kids play area garden needs to be upgraded

We visited during janmashtami holidays for two nights only to relax and enjoy change from the routine and it was raining cats and dogs in gujarat. Service, food and house keeping were excellent. Staff was very helpful - especially zaidbhai. The combination of location of gir serai, its vicinity from the highway and center and the comfort it offers is a combination that makes one visit this place more than once.

Our stay was excellent. The location was great with plants, nature and a river. The food was amazing, the staff were really polite and nice. This place is a must visiting place.

Pro: staff is courteous, food is good, rooms are clean and in good shape, service is good, location. Cons: property is under renovation, no lifts, property looks old, surrounding area and kids play area are not maintained.

1) no welcome drink offered, it is served after an hour when asked. ( 2 ) dinner timing was scheduled at 8. 00 pm, but it is delayed to be ready at 9. 00 pm. Guests were literally waiting for food. ( 3 ) nobody was present at reception for checkout in the morning, when asked about it, it was informed by a housekeeper that the receptionist came and went out to freshen up, and we discussed on a call with receptionist to checkout. ( 4 ) lack of range in food items, only 5-6 items are prepared for dinner and breakfast. Food is cold served in dinner.
