Review Of Gandhis Paradise Most Centrally Located Hotel In Mcleodganj

Location was good but SERVICE ,FOOD and Behave of owner was not satisfactory. He was not able to tackle the families.Also was not admitting his lacking.Not recommended

on reaching the hotel we were greeted by hotel receptionist and gave us room no 404 as our bus also got late so we reach the hotel by 2pm. my 6 year old son has used the toilet on reaching the room and found the toilet is block, he told us regarding this so we complaint regarding this to the receptionist after shown the toilet condition some worker from the hotel side not able to fix the problem , we have again complaint it in the night of 6 th june but no action were taken from the hotel side to fix it . whole night we have to sleep in that room with very bad smell of pops. next day we left to the local sight seeing and handed over the key of room and ask the hotel reception to please fix the toilet or provide us a new room. when we reach back to the hotel in the evening of the 7th june we found the toilet still not fix when we reach to the reception to change our room he told us that toilet would have been blocked by us and we cant change rhe room as they have no room.later in the evening around 6 pm they have called a plumber who have fix the problem. we were shocked regarding this pathetic behaviour of the hotel side.

Firstly the hotel is not centrally located to either the main market areas of Mcleodgunj or Dharmkot or even Bhagsu. All these places involve at least a km or more of walking up and down very steep roads, so if you are ok with all this walking then it’s ok. The property is very old and not maintained. After many many years I saw tubelight as the main light source in the room. The fancy lamps don’t work. When booking a hotel in a hill station station in the winter months, heater option via AC or heater should be standard and part of the regular tariff! But we were asked to pay 500 rupees extra per day to switch on the ac and make it work like a heater. The restaurant has good view. The staff are courteous. The food is decent at best. The room and hotel feels very dated and furniture’s are very old. Doesn’t justify the price. We stayed there during last week of December 2024.

Had an amazing stay at Gandhi's Paradise Hotel in Dharamkot! The location is perfect, just a walkable distance from McLeodganj main square and Bhagsu Nag Temple. The views from the property are breathtaking and truly one of the best in the area. The service and hospitality were exceptional, and a special mention to Dinesh Ji, the property manager, who was extremely supportive and helpful throughout my stay. His warmth and dedication made the experience even more memorable. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Dharamkot or McLeodganj!

The owner of the property and the cafe taker both are nice as well as the staff, good room with the best view. The food is also good in taste if u like simple food .

What a great experience I had with my friends while staying at Hotel Gandhi’s Paradise!! Literally the best view in Mcleodganj and Bhagsu, with clean and spacious rooms. Food and service are also amazing along with very friendly staff. The best thing is the 360 view from the view point right at the top of the hotel and hill. Must visit and stay at Hotel Gandhi’s Paradise if you are traveling to Dharamshala or Mcleodganj.

The hotel is at a wonderful location, just walking distance from mcleodganj main square and bhagsunag temple and market. The hotel has a lot of facilities and amenities, best being the sky lounge. Perfect hotel to unwind with scenic valley and mountain view with comfortable rooms and suites. Also, there are plenty of amenities in the hotel such as cafe foresta, recreational area and 360 view. Moreover, i celebrated my birthday in the hotel’s banquet hall and the staff went beyond my expectations for arranging all the birthday party requirements such as cake, decorations, lights and gift hampers. The food at the hotel's restaurant was another highlight of my stay. The hotel has top class chefs who personalise the food taste according to the customers requirements. Overall, hotel gandhi’s paradise provided an unforgettable experience with its top-notch service.

One of the best vacations i have ever had! hotel gandhi’s paradise is one of the best hotels and resort in mcleodganj, himachal pradesh. The hotel has luxurious rooms and suites with balconies having literally the best view of bhagsu valley and dhauladhar mountains. Another great thing about the hotel is its hospitality and service. Thai staff is very professional and friendly, always giving their best. That results in brilliant and fast service. Moreover, the hotel has its own restaurant having delicious food that can be personalised according to the guests taste and needs. Location of property is awesome if you want a peaceful, quiet and full of nature. Property is away from city stress. Rooms are ok. Need little renovation as it was not well maintained. About staff: they are helpful and taken care of everything as soon as we entered in property. One things which is horrible to know that everything is paid, even a dental kit, ac is also on paid basis. I recommend the hotel but still hotel management should change their point of view.

Not at all worth paying a single penny to this hotel for stay. The owner is very rude and does not listen to the guest at all. Have never been this much unsatisfied. Terrible place, terrible staff, terrible hotel, everything is terrible no amenties nothing

The room was not clean with dirty and torn linen and footmats. The electric points were damaged and the bathroom fittings were leaking. Breakfast was not even average. The only positive feature was the views we were getting from the room, terrace and dinning hall.

Worst experience with this hotel. I would not suggest anyone to go here. It is not at all hygienic, they provide used soap and other bathroom essentials. Bed linens were so dirty that it feels like they were also not changed after earlier customer. Food quality is very poor, they use such bad oil that it smells while eating. Simple dishes they cannot make up to the mark and as there is no any food options nearby, you have to cope with it. They charge separately for AC which I have not seen anywhere, we are paying so much money but it’s of no use. Only the view from hotel was good. Pathetic experience.
