Nice Stay
Nice place with budget which is few kilometres away from Mall road. The caretaker of this homestay named Gaurav is a very nice person. He helped with everything during our stay.

Good Stay
Our stay at the frosty woods hotel was fantastic! The rooms were exceptionally clean and well-appointed, with comfortable beds and stunning views of the city. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating.

Less crowded and quiet place to stay
The stay is situated 4-5 km from the mall road. The place was quite serene and not too crowded, which was a good thing about the place. The caretaker was very helpful, the room was neat and clean. You will not find too many restaurants near the stay but there is dhaba where you can have your breakfast.

familyThe heater was not working, the owner was very arrogant, although he helped with the cab. When the time came with the final discussion he even told me i myself will call and tell not to come next time just for a couple of hundred rupees. No lift or support for senior citizens or handicapped just stairs without railing. No. Reception. Owner picks up call at his own leisure.

Dear guest, You had a booking for two rooms without balcony, but i provided you a room with balcony without charging you anything extra so that you all can stay at the same floor. Also i arranged a cab for your pickup and for sightseeing at the lowest price possible. and on check-in i myself picked your luggage as there was no one available at that time. After doing all this for you i remember you using the phrase " Shimla ka naam kharab mat karo, that too because you were not willing to pay the cab driver the fare for dropping you at the ISBT. You wanted us to compensate it in the sightseeing fare, which was not possible for me. After listening all this from you, i said please don't put me in a position that i have to pay the isbt dropping fare to the cab driver myself and in that case even without wanting i would have to say that don't come next time. Also its clearly mentioned in the property description that there's no lift. So please check all these details before booking a property. And about picking calls, you kept calling me on WhatsApp. How can someone answer your calls on WhatsApp when his mobile data is off. Anyways, thanks for the visit. God bless you.
Poor Stay
My experience was not good at this hotel. Room was not cleaned properly, bed sheet and pillow were not clean. This place is far from mall road so taxi fare from hotel to mall road is expensive.

Dear guest, We counter check the rooms before checking the guests in to ensure that the rooms are clean. However, in season time, due to the rush of the guests we might have missed the countercheck. But if the guests are not satisfied with our bedsheets or pillows and they tell us to change, we do it without wasting any time. You might not have asked us to do the same. Distance from the mall is clearly mentioned on our profile, so please check the details of a property properly before booking it.

Hotel is good owner behaviour very polite food is good but road is very bad and dangerous for family.

Overall great
It is a homestay and you get 2 king size beds at an affordable price and the bathroom is clean too. The balcony provides an amazing view. You can get your dinner at your room.

Average Stay
Stay was average. The location is far from city. So u waste your more on transportation it's better to take hotel in city. Food is good and delicious and at cheaper price. As mentioned in basic facilities refrigerator, shared kitchen is not provided and there is no power back up.

Dear guest, Our homestay is located at a distance of 3.5 kms from the main city. People prefer booking us as we provide stays at a much lower prices as compared to the main city. Also we try our level best to make the stay of our guests comfortable and a memorable one. And we do not provide separate or shared kitchen for guests, whereas we have a restaurant next door, from where we provide breakfast, lunch and dinner for our guests. All these details are mentioned on our profile.
Average to good home stay.
Good stay for the family. Located about 3 km from the mall road. Spacious clean rooms. Limited menu but food was good. Value for money. Good hospitality by mr. Gaurav.

Very terrible experience
The host was rude and very uncooperative. There was no basic amenities like fan. Very poor experience.

Dear guest, I remember you were to check in on 24th May, but at the last moment you called me to inform that you hurt your foot and would not be able to check in on 24th. And therefore you requested a refund for the same. No other hotelier would have agreed to refund you the money as according to the rules, booking cannot be modified or cancelled 1 day prior to the check-in . But i agreed to your request, faced a loss in the season time for the same & refunded you your money. And you reward me for all this by calling me rude & uncooperative & giving a 1 star rating to my property. Moreover i provided you a fan the moment you checked into the room. coupleIt is calm and cool place to stay. It is approx 4 km away from mall road, but stay is excellent. Mr gaurav is very caring and helpful. He used to arrange the trip for shimla best location visit. The breakfast, lunch and dinner is nice. Food is being prepared as we use to have at home. Overall experience is nice.

Worst location and stay
Location remote, room balcony is on the roadside so wholenight vehicle noices makes you very uncomfortable during sleep. No kitchen so everything you get it from outside even a cup of tea. Not advisable for stay

Also its clearly mentioned on our profile that we don't have a separate kitchen for guests whereas we have our restaurant next door, from where we provide breakfast , lunch & dinner for our guests. In your case, i remember providing you everything i.e. from your breakfast to your dinner ( including tea in the evening) within your room that too without any delivery charges and all this on a single phone call.
