We recently stayed at Dera Masuda in Pushkar, which claims to be a four-star property. Unfortunately, my experience fell far short of expectations. While the rooms are spacious, it's clear that maintenance has taken a backseat. The grass was overgrown, and the swimming pool was dirty, which was a major letdown.
The rooms were also not up to par. Many of the switches didn't work, and the hangers in the wardrobe were rusted. Basic amenities like tissue boxes were missing, and the bed sheets, although clean, looked old and worn out. It's surprising that a hotel claiming four-star status wouldn't invest in new sheets or functional fixtures.
Overall, I'd rate this hotel as average, maybe around two stars. The four-star rating seems like a stretch, and I wouldn't recommend it to others based on my experience. Unless they revamp their maintenance and amenities, I wouldn't consider staying here again.
