Review Of Cocoon by Astral Inn

The view from the cottages are amazing, food is cooked and served to your doorstep and very homely, nice service staff, the only concern is on the last 200 meters road to the hotel is very bad, might be hard for new drivers taking cars up the hill.

It was a MMT assured hotel but fell far below expectations. Absolutely nothing at the location. Terrible standards of cleanliness and the food was non edible. Worst part is that it is not easy to access close by restaurants. The only good factor is the staff hospitality. There were only 2 staff but they were absolutely helpful and cordial.

It was good and nice stay at Cocoon. No network coverage in this hotel and no WiFi also. So all our group spent nice time together.

Some games/activities are better to be added to make the stay even more lively like indoor games, shuttle Cork etc. Food can be offered traditional way instead more of North indian style or chinese style.

Location was the best part of our stay. All of us enjoyed the location of Cocoon, the room, the calm and peaceful environment and the service offered. Food taste is average and quantity served is huge. Breakfast was good, there also the quantity have to be served according to guest to avoid lot of waste. Sanju did a good job, to help to reach at the Cocoon and did all the room services timely.

Great experience. Location is good. Good staff. Well cleaned rooms.

Hello guys. First of all thanks MakeMyTrip for helping us to find the accommodation that suited our needs. Our stay at Cocoon was for two nights. This was a relaxation trip for me and wife and also a fun filled adventure for my kiddo. The Cocoon offers 3 separated cottage type accommodation on a tea estate hilltop. The way to cocoon is hard to find due non availability of proper sign/guide boards. Thanks to Justin the reservation manager from Astral Inn who shared the location for google maps. The road to the cottages will give a slight feeling of the off road experience that wagamon can offer. Seriously if you are an amateur driver you will have a tough time. Staff- Once reaching the accommodation you will be greeted by the cottage manager Mr SANJU. He will do everything to make sure that your stay is comfortable. He was ready to fulfill every request put forward by us. Other than him two regular staffs were available who multi-tasked for the guests. Food- Since during our visit the exclusive chef for the property was on leave, they arranged food from their nearby accommodation Wind Chimes. Overall the food was good in quantity and quality. for quantity & for quality & for menu variety . Room Condition- The view from room was awesome and we really enjoyed the privacy it offered. Bathroom fittings really showed its age and cried for replacement. Same was the case for some furniture. The housekeeping staff should really improve their area of ops. Outing - Again sanju was a real savior. He arranged a Thar for our local trip. The driver had good knowledge about the local spots. Overall we enjoyed the stay and I really like to thank everyone for making our stay memorable.

Spectacular view of the tea garden from the room, Valley facing room, nice place and nice location, staff was good, food was tasty, rest everything was good.

Good location and good cottage but the route is not good and the road condition is poor and there is no visible name board for the resort.
