Hotel location is good. Nearby to Silchar railway station. Sourrounding areas are very good and safe. Hotel facility is good but not upto the mark.. service is slow.need to improve the service.

Worse never go as a couple single or any thing its the worse truly worse.

The hotel experience was quite disappointing. The water supply ran out in the morning, and the receptionist was hardly available. To make matters worse, when I had an early 7am train to catch, they closed and locked the hotel, and didn't respond to my calls. thank God, after half an hour he response. Pros: Good location, decent and clean rooms, Budget friendly Cons: No restaurant but zomato and swiggy delivery accepted TV was not working

They have taken positive review forcefully before checkout. Room was too smelly, washroom was pathetic, according to room charges are too high

when I voiced my concerns they said I should tell it online.. so here it is.. the 'people' at the reception are inexperienced and got no basic manners. for eg. they had kept my document on the desk I kept seeing it. since I had so option but give them my adhar card not the masked adhar card. I told them it is a sensitive document you shouldn't keep them for everyone to see. That guy told me I didn't keep it on the floor after I gave them my document it was their 'property' and they can mishandled it at their will. it made me feel so unsafe. since I was traveling by myself. At times I felt they treated me poorly cause I was a woman and on my own. the hotel is in the prime location what they could have done and they did this. when I asked them for their owners or authority's number they again mistreated me. There were so many bad reviews about Barak Continental. Yet I chose to stay with them cause of the location and I paid my peace of mind. Utterly disappointed and saddened by this episode. They had no functional restaurant. The sofa in the room couldn't be sat upon.. the list goes on.. I hope the owner reads this and buckles up. or perhaps they are the same.. after all your employees are the extension of you. Such good opportunity/ Potential going to waste..

For the Non AC room they don't have any Fan in the Room and they arrange a stand fan for it even doors are not properly locked not even provided the lock and key facility. The management is very poor towards the customer facilitation.

It was a very good experience. The staff are very good. The rooms are clean and everything is available nearby
