The property is one of the best in Silchar. Nearby the railway station and located in Park Road opposite to Gandhibagh Park, Tarapur, is almost in the heart of the town with a number of government buildings nearby. The marketplace is also a short walking distance of a Km or so. With ample parking space and a spacious lobby, you are going to love the ambience. The restaurant is good, serving delicious breakfast with a number of options. The Borail View Regency room is also spacious with a number of amenities. The only drawback I found is that in the deluxe room, there is no opening (no window), and no outside view is available. So if you are claustrophobic, you prefer super-deluxe front rooms.

The Borail View Regency enjoys an excellent location, very close to the railway station (just a 5-minute drive), with major markets and government offices conveniently located nearby. The food quality is satisfactory and meets expectations. The staff members are well trained, courteous, and always ready to assist, which adds to a pleasant stay. Overall, it is a good Borail View Regency offering comfort and convenience, making it a suitable choice for both business and leisure travelers.

We were loaded with luggage; however, staff were really helpful dispite very late check in. It was really refreshing to immediately served us with cool juice at the time of check in as we were really tired due to long train journey. Awsome food. Clean room and bathroom. Awsome staff.

The Borail View Regency had a new look after its renovation. The rooms had good space and were tidy. The food was good. The complimentary breakfast had a good variety of items. The staff, especially those in the reception, were very courteous. Overall excellent experience.
