I would rate my stay 3 out of 5. The rooms are clean, the service is excellent, the staff are courteous, and breakfast was good. The main challenge, however, is the location and approach road. We arrived in Vagamon at 11 PM on a misty night with zero visibility, and the last 3 km stretch to the property was extremely difficult to drive on. It was impossible to reach at night, so we had to stay in another hotel along the main road and came here the next morning.
Special mention to Ravi and Sonu, who were truly outstanding. They kept checking in on us and were genuinely concerned when we couldn’t make it that night. With mobile and data connectivity being very limited in the mountains, it was hard to stay in touch, but their efforts showed real care and professionalism.
We also faced some trouble with leeches, but that’s more of a Vagamon issue than something related to the hotel.
