I booked a flat on the 16th floor for two days, but upon arrival, we were given a unit on the first floor instead. No one was present to hand over the keys; instead, we were instructed to retrieve them from a key box. When I attempted to contact Naman and Vishal for assistance, neither was available to complete the check-in, and we felt utterly abandoned and embarrassed as strangers stared at us. The discrepancy between what I booked and what was provided was unacceptable, and the hosts didn’t even seem aware of our original booking. I had called them twice, three days in advance, to ensure a smooth check-in, but this lack of professionalism shocked and disappointed me, especially as I had planned this as a surprise for my wife and family. The condition of the apartment added to our frustration: the sofa was dirty and stained, the washrooms were filthy and smelled unpleasant, and only one towel was provided for a booking of four people. When I finally reached Vishal with complaints, he arrived that night with towels but no solutions for the apartment’s cleanliness. Despite agreeing to move us to the booked room, he later claimed it was unavailable due to “RERA issues”—a fact he never communicated in our prior discussions. To my shock, the building didn’t even have a 16th floor. My entire plan was ruined after driving from Pune all day, and both my wife and I were furious and deeply frustrated. Vishal promised to transfer us to a new flat the next day and offered compensation for the inconvenience, but after numerous calls, no resolution or compensation was ever provided.
On the second day, they moved us to a unit on the 14th floor—not the 16th, as booked. Although I reluctantly accepted, the worst was yet to come. That night, we discovered mice roaming the apartment, and to our horror, they were running across our blankets and pillows. We spent a sleepless night, terrified, and I had to drive 600 km the next day in an exhausted state. This experience was by far the worst I’ve encountered. The host’s lack of responsibility, professionalism, and care ruined what should have been a memorable trip. No refunds, no compensation, no resolution were offered, and I wouldn’t recommend this host to anyone.
