Review Of Zostel Port BlairLike a 3

Currently the only hostel available in port blair. I visited in off season and only couple of tourist were present. Washrooms was neat, bedsheets was clean, no smell or anything. The charging port placed near every bed in dormitory was loose and charging keeps getting interrupted, wifi was iffy. Don’t expect super fast stable wifi connection. AC is also an issue, keep getting on and off, every hotel has that issue probably due to some voltage issues. There is no common sitting area. Only rooftop restaurant was there and you have to order from them. Overall average stay.

The rooms and the service were really good. The restaurant can be better compared to the food available outside.

Spent 2 days in the zostel. Once on arrival and the next on departure. the staff are very helpful and humble and helped us alot to sightseeing to arranging transportation as well as giving us a room an hour earlier of being tired from our trip. very grateful and the had the chance to meet the owner who helped us with the contacts on the island. The cafe above the hostel was warm and welcoming and good place to hangout. Coming to the room, it was absolutely clean and tidy. So clean that I felt it was worth every penny compared to staying in a hotel. Would highly recommend zostel for bunking in.. :)
