I recently stayed at Vista Casita Homestay and wanted to share my experience for anyone considering it.
• No Mountain Views: The balcony does not offer any mountain views, so don’t expect the scenic experience you might be imagining.
• No Caretaker: There’s no caretaker available throughout the stay, which makes it inconvenient when you need assistance.
• Unreliable WiFi: The WiFi connection was highly inconsistent—80% of the time, it didn’t work. This made it impossible to work remotely, which was a major issue for me.
• Frequent Power Cuts: Electricity cuts happened 7–8 times daily, with no backup or inverter provided. This was incredibly disruptive and forced me to take time off from my WFH job.
• Drinking Water Access: Guests have to go down to the ground-floor kitchen to fill their water bottles, as there’s no provision for water in the room or any staff to assist with this.
• Positives: The only good aspects were the view from the society, the gated community, and safe parking. However, for the price, I feel these are fairly standard features.
Suggestions for Vista Casita
To improve the guest experience, I recommend:
1. Installing an inverter for backup power.
2. Providing an RO system for drinking water.
3. Offering a stronger, reliable WiFi connection.
4. Having a caretaker or staff member available to attend to guests’ needs.
Overall, I was quite disappointed with my stay due to these issues. I hope the management takes these suggestions seriously to enhance the experience for future guests.
