Stayed for 2 days in the sw corner room on the ground floor (same as parking. It is in chaubhatia, a relatively isolated part close to julla devi temple and kumaon brigade hq. The forest a cafe is the closest food joint about 1/2km away. There is parking for 4-5 cars but the approach is steep. Fantastic views all through the day. Balcony on all sides makes it even better. In march 2nd half it was single digits so needed heater which was provided promptly. Room was large, clean, spartan with all necessary furniture. Bathroom with boiler type geyser was convenient. Two doors will keep room cool in peak summer. Food had to be ordered a couple of hours so the caretaker could buy from market. Named after the silver oak tree in the precinct it is a fantastic place to find peace and solitude with all basic facilities that celebrates simplicity of the local life (do not expect a 3+ star Silveroak Homestay | Rooms & Caretaker experience. Sunil, who owns and personally runs the place, was genuinely helpful and even arranged a car for a day trip to nainital.

i am totally surprised with the location and the service of this homestay. My family are enjoyed a lot here and they are very happy to see such a great place. The food are also good and fresh. Rooms are well mentained and every thing are fully decored and maintained. The staff are so much helpful. Everyone in my family are so happy and they enjoyed a lot here. This is one of the best place in Ranikhet 😊.

This is my first experience of a homestay and it us really good. The rooms are big and each room has a connecting door to a balcony. Loved the view from the balcony and cool breeze comes throughout the day. The service of manohar and the cook is excellent. The food is very tasty. But the food rate is quite high. Otherwise everything is fine. I would love to come back again

Property is located in a small village bhadgaon which is 3-4 km from jhula devi temple ranikhet and road to reach the property is quite narrow, and ones u reach the property u will feel that u have come really close to nature. And u will just fall in love with the location.

I am just amazed to see the views from the Silveroak Homestay | Rooms & Caretaker. Staff's behaviour was very very good. Rooms are well cleaned and very spacious. Will book again in future and recommend everyone for this Silveroak Homestay | Rooms & Caretaker.

View from the homestay was awesome. Rooms and bathrooms are quite big and they are clean too. Staff behaviour was good. The only problem we faced here is that the dinner was delayed by 2 hours as there was only one chef.

Overall food was v good only issue was late delivery.

Lactation of property is in a village and if wanna spend time close to nature it will be a great choice. Food is just awesome and staff is humble.

Location is awesome. View is mesmerizing. Caretake provides the tasty and quality food.

Stay at silver oak was pretty good. Surrounded by mountains with picturesque surroundings. Last but not the least food was amazing

It was a nice experience to stay in a wonderful and cool location very close to the nature. Host, caretaker and cook all were so friendly and honest. I really missing them like my family. Hope visit their again.
