I recently stayed at Vijan Business Hotel, Jabalpur, and while the property itself looks impressive and well-designed, my overall experience was mixed.
Before arriving, I called the hotel twice to inquire about the availability of a cab from the airport. On both occasions, the help desk staff assured me they would check and call back, but no one ever did. This lack of follow-through clearly reflects poor front desk coordination and a lack of professional responsibility — not something expected from a business-class hotel.
Upon check-in, I faced another inconvenience — there were no bath towels available in the room. Despite several reminders, it took almost two hours before I finally received one. The repeated requests for such a basic amenity were quite disappointing.
That said, the rooms themselves were excellent — clean, modern, and thoughtfully designed. The entire switching system was touch-controlled, making lighting and temperature adjustment seamless. The smart OLED TV, comfortable bedding, and neat washroom added a premium feel to the stay. The interiors had a refined finish, and the housekeeping staff maintained good hygiene standards.
The hotel is located in a central and easily accessible area of Jabalpur, close to major markets and restaurants, making it convenient for both business and leisure travelers. Parking space is adequate, and the surroundings are relatively peaceful for a good night’s rest.
Overall, Vijan Business Hotel offers great infrastructure and comfort, but the service quality, especially at the front desk, needs serious improvement. With better staff responsiveness and professional handling of guest requests, it could truly stand out as one of Jabalpur’s best business hotels
