Review Of Veda Homestay (Self-Checkin)

Great location right by the main road connecting both airport and railway station. Proximity to Ujjayanta palace makes it ideal for visitors. Very responsive and helpful host. Was upgraded to a 3-bed room since I arrived too early for check-in. He kept checking throughout my stay if everything was going all right, which was very thoughtful. Loads of fancy eateries nearby, however it's difficult to come by homely cooking and I couldn't order them at the property either even though it's mentioned in the listing. The kitchen is very well equipped though, if anyone wishes to cook. The place is very nicely done. However, I wasn't very comfortable with how the whole system of hidden key for the main door and being monitored by sensors work, especially as the place doesn't provide locks on individual room doors on the outside. If you are as paranoid as me, please bring along a lock for mental peace about keeping your possessions safe when going out. Also there is no caretaker on the property. Even though the host is always available on the phone, as a solo female traveller, the whole self checkin system did creep me out. Couple of times I caught my next door guy peeping through the crack in his door as I was entering/exiting my room. He probably was curious and shy, but would have been better if he just came out and said hello rather than just silently watching. It was very uncomfortable and I felt extremely cautious leaving my room to go to the common bathroom at night.

Great stay but entire appartment is great option for groups stay.self cooking option is also available.

Such a nice and warm hospitality.It has clean and well maintained room's.The host is soo friendly and attentive always eager to share insights about the local area and culture.Home cooked meals made from local ingredients.

A wonderful place to stay. The host was soo supportive and treated me as his family person.He arranged a pickup and provided information on the local attractions and mizoram tour.We really loved every stay they provided. Appreciate host for being such a gracious.

The property is located at very convenient area of the city and is easily accessible from the railway station. Amenities & services provided were very good. We used the kitchen to cook our food. Nice arrangement for a group or family staying together. I suggest that the caretaker should ensure clean water supply to the washroom.

Mistakely book this category but thanks to host he's so nice assist and help us to upgrade and soo many more nice stay, soo neat and clean property located nearby main road provisions every locations are easily accessible.

Excellent service and value for Money, Rooms are clean especially toilets are clean and well maintained. Their food quality is excellent . Overall it was a great experience, recommend for family and friends.

room not good , insects 🦟 🐞 in mattress, fan can fall down any time on sleeping person , fan too noisy , no water in room for guest , no towel.. wholes legs red spots due to insects bites ! never ever advise to stay there.

Location is very accessible to ujayanta palace and other tourist spots nearby. Foods you can cook. Dinning can be taken from nearby so restaurants available over there. Services are good. Apartment is good and cozy.

Pathetic experience. The caretaker was unresponsive, we called him many times but he didn't respond. During our stay we didn't get any type of room service. Even there was no use inverter in the event of loadshedding. The door of the room was damaged. Try to improve your hospitality.

We really had a comfortable stay with family. So neat and clean. This was the first time we stayed home stay. As we need to upgrade the room. The host ananya was always available on call. Everything you have to do at your own. I just loved that peace every tourist destinations are available in walking distance. Cars public modes of transport available in front of the property.
