This was unfortunately the worst hotel stay we’ve ever experienced. We booked 3 rooms for 2 nights, and every single room had one issue or another. The hotel appears to be an old, poorly maintained property that lacks even the most basic amenities.
All rooms had a strong, unpleasant odor. Looks like there had been no pre-check-in cleaning or checklist followed. Bathrooms were dirty, and basic items like towels, buckets, bath mats, cups , tea spoon etc were missing. There was no mirror in our room. When we did receive towels, they were stained. The extra blanket provided was torn, so we had to return it—and ended up sleeping without one.
Despite booking a premium room, it was surprisingly small . The AC in our room was leaking and had to be repaired after we checked in. There was no proper wardrobe for clothes, and the bathroom didn’t have an exhaust fan, making it constantly smelly.
Breakfast timing was supposed to be from 8 to 10 AM, but on the first day, it wasn’t even ready until 8:20. On the second day, we checked out early and skipped it altogether. During power cuts, someone had to manually start the generator, which felt very unprofessional for a so-called “luxury” property.
. That turned out to be a mistake. The stay was extremely uncomfortable and ended up spoiling the mood of our entire trip.
