I had fond memories of The Royal Pavilion, Kolhapur from my first visit in December 2024 with a friend. The experience was smooth, pleasant, and worth returning for. That’s exactly why I chose the same property again, this time with my family.
However, this visit turned out to be quite the opposite. While check-in and check-out were quick, the overall experience was marred by several disappointments — missing cups, glasses, and water bottles in the room, along with unprofessional and argumentative restaurant and housekeeping staff. They lacked active listening, made us repeat simple requests, and even managed to mess up our dinner order.
As a returning customer, I genuinely expected the same level of warmth and efficiency as before, but this time, The Royal Pavilion clearly fell short of its own standards.
Now, the hotel management will respond with standard and scripted response.
