I stayed at this cottage for 2 nights and had a mixed experience.
Starting with the positives, the location is beautiful and peaceful, with a lovely river view right from the room window. The atmosphere is calm and perfect for relaxing, especially if you enjoy nature. There’s a shared swimming pool, some light music in the evenings, and even opportunities for star gazing, which added to the charm of the stay. The staff were warm, welcoming, and responsive to requests. The food was definitely a highlight—delicious and felt just like homemade. There’s also ample parking space available, which is convenient.
However, the cleanliness and maintenance of the rooms left much to be desired. The room wasn’t very clean upon arrival, and there were bugs inside, likely attracted by the lights. On the bright side, the staff did provide fresh sheets upon request. Another major drawback was the power outage schedule. There’s no electricity from 11 PM to 6 AM, and again from 8 AM, which can be inconvenient, especially during hot or humid weather.
Overall, this place has potential and is great for someone looking for a nature-focused, off-grid experience with good food and friendly service. Just be prepared for basic conditions and power limitations.
