A place with great potential, but let down due to limited facilities/ issues
familyThe location is good. However, the stay was a turn off - certainly not a value for money. 1. There is no usable kitchenet. However, caretaker helped us with heading the milk for kids. 2. The rooms get really heated due to concrete terrace. It takes a couple of hours for room to get little cooler. Until then, not convenient to stay inside. 3. All mattresses have plastic wrapped/ stitched in. You cannot have a good night sleep (plastic feeling) and will sweat as there is no natural air passage due to plastic cover. 4. One of the rooms is facing the empty plot. Of the 2 nights, wastes are burnt and it will come inside the room. On the 3rd night, rain saved the night for us. 5. No toiletries for a room The furnishing are good and given location, good potential. However, this is better to be avoided, until the host fixes / removes the plastic wrapping on mattress / add better facilities - such as mosquito net on windows. AC is really a necessity, unless you are going to be there only during nights.

Thank you for your reply, some of the mistakes will be taken care. The amount what we receive is less , when you book from make my trip you will be paying commission for them too so prices will be looking high. we give importance for cleanliness, so we avoid cooking in rooms, our Homestay is meant for staying not for cooking, we allow outside foods but not cooking .we provide basic facilities like towels ,bedsheets and blankets, toiletries you have to get and we have not mentioned we will provide it anywhere,In Coorg summer is only for two months rest of the months we don't even use fans, so Ac s are less common in Coorg. As our Homestay is new ,we will try to bring some new changes to the facilities provided.
