It was not a very good experience. We booked the entire guest house/1 floor for the dates 30.12.2023 (check in) to 01.01.2024(checkout. The caretaker took our bags and dropped in our rooms. The internet connection is very bad because the wifi router is not on your floor so connectivity is an issue. The smart tv (dyanora 32 inch) will also face the connection issue and everything will keep on buffering and the internet connection will get lost. You will have to wait for it to reconnect again and again. The guest is paying this much so a 2500-3000 rupee internet extender or a router is not a very big ask. Atleast connect your tv with a LAN cable. The food was very overpriced a simple plain chapati is 25-30 rupees, a simple maggi is around 80-120 so we decided not to ask them for food. There is no hot plate/induction but you will have a microwave, a kettle which is not very clean from inside and an unclean pop-up toaster. It is actually very dirty from inside and you cannot clean it yourself. The rooms are ok, nothing special. Housekeeping/cleaner only clean the rooms and bathrooms but will not change bedsheets. Only heat blowers which looks very old are available for the rooms at a charge of 100 rs per room per day. The taps in the bathroom need repairs, washbasin tap in our bathroom was even coming out. The taps doesn’t turn off nicely. A flush in our toilet was not working properly and we told this to the caretaker but she said no one will be available today. So we managed somehow using the buckets every time. Caretaker family lives downstairs and are nice and sweet people. The balcony is only attached with the living room. The views from the balcony are not very stunning because trees covers the scenic views. The small park in the property is ok but not as lush as you see in the photos as the photos are old. If you think this property is somewhere in a secluded area so you are very wrong. It’s on the road, construction works are going everywhere and you will feel that the nature’s feel is a bit missing. The photos on google and on mmt where the kids are playing is old because a construction work is also going on there. Zomato deliveries are available but that takes time to deliver and only a very few outlets will be available. You can have food at a nearby cafe which is a 2-3 minutes drive from the property. They have a seating area in the open and few tables are in a gazebo. The owner of this homestay is a retired IAS who is not very friendly.
