Everything was good but we can’t blackout room if we want to sleep in daytime

Lighting is very poor and the room size is average. Hotel malabar is much cheaper and has better rooms. Malabar is right next to hangout so go for that anyday. Both are located at the bus stand so offer a lot of convenience

Bedsheets were not cleaned properly, no hot water, no slippers, poor service, no kettle, lack of bathroom usable products

Amenities and location is excellent but price and cleaning is not up to the mark. All weather ac is available but bed sheets cleaning and maintenance was average

Rooms are clean and hotel is good. Fantastic nature of staff and great location with beautiful view

Newly renovated, they provided kettle but no tea bags which was strange. There was no heater. The sheets were dirty but they changed it upon request. Location of the hotel is central.

Hotel don't have kitchen they said due to river overflow our kitchen is damaged we said okie. That's our first day so we adjust next day they don't have water bottel to serve then they said we will arrange food from outside we said okie then they give us food is plastic bag and deny to give plates spoon and bowl they said they don't have after that we ask ko give us match box or lighter they deny thay don't have and the main thing all rooms are empty but they gave us room on the 4 th floor so me-in 2nd day check our kr liyea auro sunno el baat 3days ka paid tha advance me-in wapis ni manga auro upar se bol rheey hai extra bed ka paisa de do w ah re wah (hotel by malabaar malabaar sath hai 1 min ke distance pe waha se en se ek plate ni layi gayi hospitality sikho thori hotel by mala baar so we check out next day. I don't need discount. Thanks

Good room, good service and quality time enjoyed

Hotel charged too much. It's not worth-ed for money. Hotel is too smelly and no view at all. It's near volvo bus stand and place is too messy and clumsy.

It was a really decent hotel with sufficient space. The location of the hotel is the biggest plus point. The hotel is in the heart of kasol.

Staff were polite and helpful in allowing us an early check-in without charging extra. The food is not that great and power cuts are frequent at the hotel but nevertheless, the location is convenient in terms of cafe hoping, shopping and strolling by the river. The stay was quite comfortable. No major complaints.

Hotel malabar hangout, owner is very rude and staff is his tail, they are not allowed speak freely infront of the owner. He was so arrogant didn’t give one reply politely or clear. As soon as we book it from mm t, his toned changed totally completely. Staff is very nice and humble in absence of the owner. Washroom is very clean. One strange thing happened with us, our bed suddendly started shaking and we felt the tremble for 20secs but when we asked others that is there any earthquake so they denied. We don’t know if it was paranormal activity or what.

Our stay at The Hangout by Malabar Kasol for 3 nights was comfortable! The family suite is extraordinarily spacious with a refrigerator and electric kettle! Courteous staff and delicious stay! Will recommend for a comfortable stay!

The wash room of the hotel was horrible. I got myself burnt while using water.

Nice clean spacious rooms but it's more of a guest house/hostel. Nothing extra can be done to accommodate guests. No laundry service and no care to even try and get it done from neighboring properties that do provide laundry service which they own next door. I have a fractured wrist - they couldn't be bothered to org-anise ice for me but i saw ice buckets outside other people's rooms in the morning. Tv channels are all hindi- again they couldn't really be bothered to get a couple of free india news channels that are in english. Toiletries are these tiny bars of basic soap. Daily calls for payment or to find out if i'm checking out or not but no asking if i want the room cleaned. Based on price this should be guest house / hostel rates, you cant claim to be a hotel and provide absolutely 0 service. I'm a general manager at a london hotel and i feel bad for the owner. Even when people in the village ask where i'm staying they volunteer info on how bad the service is there, anyway they have a lot to learn on hospitality and wish them all the best but no need to have so many hotels if you cant do each one properly.

Awesome experience and great service

The hotel did not provide even the basic facilities that were mentioned while booking. Things like electronic kettle, toiletries, towels which are provided by every hotel, were missing. The staff was also very impolite. The hygiene was also poor, the bedsheets and duvet being very dirty. And there was only 1 charging point in the room.
