Review Of THE FOREST VILLA RESORT

The place is really far from dapoli city centre. And as the name suggests it’s in the middle of nowhere. You’ll not find a single basic eatery in and around 15km radius. All the beaches and other scenic destinations are minimum 25-35km away from this property. Basically it’s not a commercial resort or a established home stay but in fact is a private property made available at very expensive rate with extremely basic rooms which are not well maintained. The food served is tasty however as there is no seasoned cook available at the property, basic breakfast or lunch will be served after a lot of follow up with high chances of they either forgetting what you had ordered or serving something different than what you had ordered. Not to mention that the basic veg thali without sweet dish will cost 350 rs. If you are looking for a family trip without moving much to do touristy things this is the place for you.

I just checked the tents there and didn't stay there and it was a non refundable booking so had no option other than loosing the booking amount. Tents were very small tents not good for family stay and considering the restrooms also for people staying in tents to be common with rest rooms of swimming pool. So may be a villa there could be an option to stay but definitely booking a tent with high expectations is bad decision. No
