Excellent Stay at The Banaras Hotel 5/5 stars "I recently stayed at The Banaras Hotel and had a fantastic experience! The room was clean, comfortable. The staff were friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. The hotel's location was perfect, with plenty of options for dining and shopping nearby. Very near from Kashi Vishwanath and Kaalbhairav temple. Near from Dashashwamedh Ghat - Clean and comfortable room - Friendly and helpful staff - Great location - Well-maintained Would definitely stay again!

Hotel was very clean and the staff was very polite and helpful. Strongly recommend this hotel more cause of staff. Thanks for being so good

Decent stay for solo travellers.. Located in prime location and well accessible to the temple and ghats.. The property is maintained well and and go to option for backpackers.

Location and facilities are the best hotel staff is also very supportive .over all the experience is nice.

First of all it was very near to the Ghat in Varanasi , The staff in the hotel were good in talking and giving information regarding the information of Varanasi

Only plus point for thsi hotel is ots location. They dont have parking although they claim to have valet parking, I ended up paying 1300/- for parking for three days and that too very far from the hotel.

Pathetic room. The AC was not working and the room size was too small. Even can't accommodate 2 persons.

Banaras trip was spoiled by The Banaras Hotel(Godolia hotel) 1.unclean room 2. no place to take bath, shower almost on top of Toilet pot , anyone can imagine 3. overpriced 4. Good Location 5. unhelpful staff 6 no hot water in bathroom on 3rd day 7. staff didn't help 8. took airport transfer from hotel, found cow dunk in car, complaint the same 9. cab is ownned by hotel but manager says it's third party service, that's not possible because cab didn't have tourist number plate, same told by driver also 10. you ask for cab , they will say we have black honda city & Kwid despite complaint for cab, manager sent the same cab for drop Also driver shamelessly ask for tip, would rather force you to give trip, or they will ask money on the name of parking charges go to dharamshala, your stay will be comfortable than the Banaras Absolute non sense

Near to mandir. clean bathroom. staff are good behave. food little bit costly. Rooms amenities are good.

location good, no food / food from street supplied at higher rate,average service, no amenities. overall a little below average.

room as provided hotels is very small not as per show in make my trip apps. No food available in hotel. Location is good. Others facilities are same

The location is 500 meter away from Temple and Dashasumer/Rajendraprasad ghat. Room very good/clean and maintained. no cons at all. Great

The property is well maintained and staffs are good however the price was too high for the property.

It showed us in the app as room and big bed with blanket. Later after booking we got the dormitory beds in a room. I must say, Banaras hotel staff is the absolute worst I’ve ever encountered! They are completely careless and utterly clueless, leaving me frustrated beyond measure. To top it off, the support was just as pathetic. We had to cancel our room due to the awful service, and now I demand a refund or an coupon. Don't even think about giving me the runaround; I expect prompt action on this matter! Regards, Girish
