Stayed for 3 days with 3 rooms. Location - Around 3 km from Khatia Gate. Resorts such as Mowgli, Windsor, Barasingha are closer to Gate while others are farther from Taal. However, Taal's location is good. It's exactly opposite to railway officers guest house. Food - This is a slightly negative. Variety is not there but food is as per your requirement. I specified type of food (less oily, less spicy) to Santosh cook. Veg, non-veg both served. Service - Resort is upcoming and staff is relatively new/young. But they make it up with their enthusiasm and energy. Mr. Mrityunjay who is the owner partner amongst the two is a wildlife photographer himself. He is staying on campus with family and developing the resort slowly. He takes keen interest in your requirements and accepts your suggestions. That's a big plus. He is very prompt in providing best service. He is developing two machans overlooking a lake that is very near to the core zone. At night you may hear sambhar calls. Good experience. Bonfire is given at every night, there are around 3-4 separate bonfire places in resort. On day 1, we faced slight trouble with hot water (system being the old one) but he resolved with his staff. Some rooms has this problem of red colored hot water. Value of money resort and guidance from Mrityunjai on tiger sightings.
