It's a beautiful property, vast area of green and beauty, well maintained far away but building and greenery around less so. In winter it's a very good choice. As an expensive property priced equivalent to 5* hotels, it has quite a lot of shortcomings which even a 3* or half the price properties offer, 1. No bottled/mineral water in the rooms so don't forget to take along your crates, else you might have to come down from 1st floor to drink a glass of water. Few bottles of their water were given to rooms upstairs once we complained. But then we brought in cartons of bottled waters. 2. No electric kettle, tea bags in the rooms, so bring along your electric kettles and tea bags, there's one in kitchen though, we'd to manage with just that, but can't have tea in your rooms and come down for tea. 3. No wifi in the rooms which is a norm and standard even in 800- hotel now a days. There's a router in living room, only near that you get some connection. This is a area of low connectivity whether air-tel or vodafone or jio which they can't do anything about, so this atleast could've helped. There's notice though that above 3gb speed will come down and one's try at a joke by stating guests can complaint to mukesh am-bani as that's the best in the area, which it's not as we've been to two more villas nearby and they've excellent wifi. 4. Acs are old and not sufficient. Even at 36 degree as it rained before the living room with 25' ceiling and say 40'x40' size and with two 1. 5 or even 2 tonnes are just peanuts. Add to it constant powercuts and generator being manually switched on say with a gap of 5/10 minutes, it's unbearable. At nights, with power cuts and generator on having gaps (being not auto unlike other properties, you wake up again and again. 5. Water gets exhausted fast, either small tank capacity or high usage. They turn on the pump which is fine but tank/s are not cleaned for a long, long time the dirt/grime at the bottom of the tank gets churned when water is pumped in and the water through taps are dirty and can't be used for washing/bathing for quite some time till the dirt gets settled say half an hour atleast after the pump is stopped. 6. None stays at the house and no communication system to gate or guards, so at night whenever you require something, you have to walk it to the main gate, wake people up and get things. These happened with no water and no power situation twice with us. There are other small cons which i will write at the end as they're not very important. Promod the cook and his assistant was always at service with his breaks he deserves. He was excellent with superb attitude to serve guests. He is not a chef but his attitude to learn fast and serve guests best food, perhaps he is better than chef. There's boy rahul and a lady who does the rooms. But beyond them there's none and even if you call others, there were many in the kitchen and eating too to please take away the cups and wash them so that we can have next round of tea/coffee, they'll just come and won't do anything and go away. We had to wash our cups several times and in other times promo d did. He is really very good serving guests. Food was good, homestyle, exactly what we were looking for. Evening starters were good too again homestyle so we were happy. All credits go to promo d and his assistants (s because last day we noticed another young boy helping) to keep us fully satiated and keep up with our demands (although there's none, we're busy with ourselves only) pool is mostly dirty, there's none to clean up and all, but not that dirty for us not to use, we enjoyed it. No moisturisers in bathrooms, in that heat it's necessary. Shower gel in bottle which every guests to use month after month, not hygenic, less towels. Less people at service with respect to 6 rooms of 12/14 people. Such a good property with expensive priceline guests expects a little more. Heard from others who went there before us that they've already given these info to stay-vista but they haven't bothered to do anything about it possibly not informed the owner even, just happy with their hefty cut. Even the stay-vista rm who called me up before and after requested not to write bad reviews and he will ensure discount on our next stay-vista holidays which i knew never happens as even gst bills don't come from stay-vista even with 10 reminder mails and calls.
