Review Of Silvertip Cottage

It was a pleasant stay with my friends at Kotagiri. The location was good and the surrounding was peaceful. The host was really well behaved and supportive. Staffs were cooperative. The rooms were relaxing and comfortable. Food was good but variety and quality can be improved. Value for money stay.

This is not in Coonoor and there is absolutely nothing to do near the resort. We walked around in tea plantations but was warned by locals to not venture after 5pm since there are wild bisons and can be dangerous. Pros: Awesome room, awesome area around the cottage, nice views nearby, awesome food, cafe is good. Cons: 20 kms from the city Coonoor and further away from Ooty, there is absolutely nothing to do after 5pm, you have go outside for food which is difficult if you don’t have your vehicle, no food or water at night as this is homestay, TV did not have Hindi channels but on request, they started star plus package.

Everything was good. Except for the food which is too costly. But it tasted good. Maybe they should bring their price on menu down.

Overall positive stay for my parents. Dinner can be better

The property is nice, well maintained and the quality of food served is decent as well. A little expensive but the place is away from the main City so it's quite and peaceful.

It was quiet and private. The maids were all very helpful and friendly. Amazing place with warm loving helpers.

Lovely location and very hospitable staff unfortunately that's where it ends, we called a day earlier and requested to check-in at 7:30 am from the owner and were given keys to the room which was very dusty and had comb webs, water closet was dirty which was partly cleaned in the afternoon at 3 after calling the owner of the property, no clean towels were provided stained blanket, breakfast served only at 10 am, we had to check-out a day earlier and glad we did.
